Ended up being a combination of the bottom 4 stack valve (only a 4 stack on this one not a 5 stack) and the spool valve on the DS 5 port Norgren. Thanks to all.

Art, like Jon is always saying, it varies from bus to bus. My Liberty has the Norgren filter separator that you pictured. It’s in my steer compartment with a regulator that’s set at about 30psi. It’s a secondary filter separator for the bathroom air pocket door only.

On my coach, the primary aux filter separator that’s downstream of the aux tank, it’s a Bendix type E, and it’s located just inside the steer compartment door bottom right. Here’s a link to the rebuild I did on it: /threaddetails.asp?Category=&ThreadID=6359

Then, just down stream of the aux compressor is another aux system primary filter separator. It’s an SMC brand. I added a second one. Here’s a link about that: /threaddetails.asp?Category=&ThreadID=6167

Most likely it is the temp but you might try to re boot the unit, kind of like when your I-phone is acting up you shut it off and restart it. On inverters you have to disconnect all power to it AC volts (unplug) and disconnect DC battery power, on some coaches the battery disconnect is not enough so you have to disconnect battery, If the screen is blank that means it off, give it a minute and power it back up. One thing that happens is people plug electric heaters in their coach for heat and most of the time the power passes though the inverter and most inverters can’t handle all those amps and it weakens the relays in the inverter. If you want to plug in a heater check for a plug that is hot when it’s not plugged in turn on inverter to invert and any plug that is not hot is not running though inverter and that is better. Easiest way is to run a extension 12 or 10 gauge cord to an outside soars, Heaters and inverters don’t mix well.

Dick said “Is anyone worried about the new insulation being fire proof in case of a fire in the generator bay?”

It is not in the generator bay. The radiator is remote located in the water bay.

Engine HP can be converted into KW. The amount of KW needed to propel the coach is going to be significantly greater than the output of any generator installed on our coaches.

The problem of no inventory is not new. This has occurred with Michelin as far back as I can remember. One time we ordered a batch of 50 tractors from International with Michelin tires. International did not have any to put on when they were produced, and could not get them in time so they substituted Goodyears. Our tire supplier was able to get Michelins somehow and they switched out all the Goodyears as soon as the trucks arrived at our shop. Lots of work, but they did not want us to be stuck with Goodyears. This was probably back in the 1980’s some time if I remember right.

In any event, we only ran Michelin and had really good luck with them…better than anything else we tried. I know it is a PITA when they are not available, and with all the computer inventory tracking, there really is no reason for it.

Jon, I could not recall if there was an earthen berm that limited sight distance or not. I was going to say that Jeff could sneak over there in the dark of night with his tractor equipped with a grading blade and scrape it away. That would open the vista. Problem is likely the berm is on private property so the owner would likely be responsible for removing the berm.

The typical 10’x70′ would not be enough for vehicles entering 411 due to the travel speeds.

    Hi Andy,

From what I understand this was a one of a kind coach built by MR Prevost himself. What’s unclear is if it was a diesel or gasser? Some say it was a gasser first and converted to diesel some years later? What about your flexible, gas or diesel?
