Liam,
Where did you see the “plug into the pole/post” option?

Just jack up the axle and let the air out if you’re concerned about the weight. I doubt there is any problem even without the jack.

A 50 amp coach would be able to provide 100 amps (50 amps each) to the 2 separate circuits. 100 amps is 12,500 watts. A 17,500 watt generator would produce 145 amps so a 70 amp breaker (70 amps to each leg) would be the correct breaker for the genset and the coaches dual 50 amp breakers would protect the coach.

Thank you Jon & Tom:
Thank you, Thank you, and by the way did I say Thank you for power of the Prevost Community and your contacts.
Your contact Pat from Michelin put me in touch with Chris Brooks from Michelin (Field Engineer & Customer Engineering Support). Chris came to my house, he was very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. We jacked up both steers and both tags, checked all for radial and lateral runout, all were with in acceptable tolerances. Chris even took the extra time to check the brake disk and hub for runout on the tag axles. Again both tags were in acceptable range.
I accept but don’t understand (know where to turn next) that Chris spent the time to prove the new Michelin 365s were with inspects so what now? I have rebuilt the front end, installed new shocks, air bags, engine shims, ride height confirmed correct, had a complete body (front & Back) alignment, had the hub bearings checked, and a universal joint that seamed questionable replaced.
I went down this list with Chris and asked why after doing all the above items I still had a vibration with the old tires. When I had the old tires trued/shaved down the coach never ran so smooth. Now I have new tires (which Chris has proven to be inspects) and my vibrations are back. Chris noted the truing/shaving the tires only masked an underlying problem and didn’t fix it.
Makes perfect since, I can’t argue with that, but what do I do now. I have pretty much exhausted every possibility I or anyone else has come up with.
Chuck
Again thanks for putting the power of Prevost Community to the rescue. Without Michelin’s support and confirmation of the tires being with in their spec I would still be chasing a tire issue that appears not to be the culprit.

Very stupid. A single zip tie would have been better than linking two.

Care to share the reason the photo would be on Fakebbook? Did the owner post it to show his wisdom, or did someone see it and needed to show the rest of the world?
There are things that go so far beyond stupid it sometimes seems people do stuff like that just to get a reaction.

Yes
I used a couple of the plastic junction boxes, one on each side of the bay side wall to make all the connections.
A lot of wires to deal with and makes the box full by the time you connect everything but it allowed me to mount the inverters in the correct position.
I didn’t do this but you might check and see if it would be possible to run new romex from the originating positions.
I doubt you could pull new wire through the bays to the inverters.
Good luck

As always…a thorough write up with practical applications/explanation of use and why! Your knowledge and willingness to always share is truly Priceless!!!
You help us rookies feel like we just might be able to operate these beautiful Goliaths and keep them on the road for many more years!
Really like the idea of this Reader (w/ABS codes, too)…not that I’m mechanically qualified – but, that it will allow the ability to talk intelligently with skilled mechanics; know what the potential/actual problem might be – and, therefore, be less likely to be “played” by any unsavory shop. Yet another aspect of Safety on the Road.
Thank you always, Jon!

Similar issues when I first installed my Pressure Pro. Added the antenna as Tom noted, no problems since.

We must pay return shippingPrevost I think has really cracked down on everything dealing with parts returns…I am not sure if they got a lot of entertainer/seated coach companies sending parts in or what…I have seen this as well and have had to attempt to get them to pay shipping back when they made the mistake…They also are at times charging a restocking fee…

They have cheaper services. But we pay for the premium to make sure we get all our mail. Hate to see a forward sticker fall off and you miss something important. We still have our house and don’t full time, but are on the road upwards of 9 months a year. They package up a weeks worth of mail and send it to whatever address we give them including, like I mentioned before, packages.
If we want them to hold the mail until we get where we going, it’s not a problem.
The USPS is actually really profitable, except for the government taking profits off the top and leaving them scraps to operate on. Especially now that UPS & FEDEX both drop off their packages at the Post office and let them deliver them.
Then when we are home, we let them know and it starts coming to our house daily again.
It may not be for everyone, but we’ve had good luck using them for 11 years and they haven’t lost our mail.
