Hey Brian. Long time since hearing from you. Hope you and Beverly are doing well.

Thank you gentlemen. Will proceed as suggested. Unfortunately we are a long way from MO but will find an independent Detroit mechanic for consultation.

Great shot! Happy Independence Day to all, and may Freedom and Liberty prevail.

Our 99 Liberty XLV had the original Vanner monitor when we bought our coach in 2014. A few years later I was doing a pre-trip inspection and noticed the Vanner Monitor had “melted down”. Fortunately it didn’t set the coach on fire. Two airlines on the ceiling of the engine bay were melted. I think it was a “C” model. I replaced it with a new one, a Model D.
On one or two other Vanner threads I’ve been critical that the Vanner Equalizer and the Vanner Monitor are poorly designed in that they do NOT incorporate fusing nor do they provide a digital voltage readout of what they are seeing in the batteries. My disappoint continues.

Josh, now that boy is a real trip. Kim said she’s never been concerned about what Josh will become… He can always serve as a pitiful example”! I inadvertently drove off without my entry step and Josh found it (like I’ll ever see that again). So that makes Josh a Stepson right?

Have heard back from Wilderness Village. They can accommodate us. Their reservation system opens Feb. 1 for next year. Each site has power and water. And they have two dump stations. $92.40 CA including GST tax. Sounds like a great place they can accommodate 43’-120ft rigs with toads.

Yep, Jamie and Gil can’t stand the thought that PC has better info then they do and for free!! I still can not believe people pay for POG. There is nothing there worth reading.
Jamie deleted several of my posts on POG shortly after he bought it saying it violated the rules, I asked what rule, and he could not point to one. I guess if you mention PC, that is against his wallet….

I greatly appreciate the information. Jon, could it be ozone that effects the inner tires? I developed tire coves using heavy sun shade material. Plus they don cover the tires like those cumbersome white or black ones do. But if it is ozone or Uv ,then I may be adding extra work.

Highly recommend contacting Austin Hicks – GM/partner (615) 280-1278 Ext. 200 at Olympia Luxury Motorcoach in Murfreesboro, TN…suburb of Nashville.
Olympia does the most thorough Pre-Purchase Inspection in qualifying a Coach; and, hands down, the most extensive and complete Zeroing out of any Prevost dealership.
Full disclosure: Gil Johnson frequently performs the initial PPI of many remotely located coaches for Austin – to determine whether they measure up to Austin’s exacting standards.
It might be worthwhile to call Austin and see what incoming Inventory of Coaches, model & year and converter brand (e.g., Liberty, Marathon, Millennium, Featherlite, Country Coach, Royal, Parliament, etc.) they are bringing in the near future.

The ATS transfer switch needs a good ground to pull relays in.
