When ours failed I began to smell fumes in the bus. It is an evacuator fan. No Ballast. Dayton brand, model# 1TDR3, on amazon, Grainger, etc. There is a fuse and breaker.

I found this today. The article indicates that our supply of Diesel is only 25 days; smallest since 2008. Just thought the article is interesting. War on fossil fuels is working much to our demise.

Wow, Dan. Tell them “hi” from us! Two fond memories from Driggs was Dr Lee’s telescopes and his “wok” medley cooked up before the rally. ??

Check the plug in the coach for corrosion. The cable shown plugs into the coach and the other end may be causing the issue. It is overheating from resistance. Typically a bad connection, ie corrosion, loose connection.

Hey Dick,
We went to Clearwater Motor coach, but there are several paint shops that can do it!

That makes sense. Sure wish those kits were still available.
I will definitely use the bigger 1/4″ fittings. If possible, would you measure the length of hose between the fittings and report back, that would help out a lot to make sure it’s the right length.
Thanks!

Just saw your post I’m sure what Don listed is correct. I didn’t get why the updated vent line/location would help……until I got the kit. Although the line size didn’t look much different to me, the fittings were twice the size (1/8 updated to 1/4 I think). Which is why the location moved to the larger hole on opposite side.

A Prevost conversion is a toy. It is not an investment. It is a big, obvious way to demonstrate how quickly you can piss money away.
Buying a Prevost is never going to be considered smart. No matter how much you study the market, how astute you are at spotting trends and acting on them, it is one of the dumbest purchases any of us can make, except for one thing. It is a lifestyle without parallel. If you find one you really like buy it regardless of the cost. Then use the hell out of it. You will end up with a permanent smile. You will meet a lot of really great people. It becomes a lifestyle unmatched on a golf course, ski slope, jet to Europe, or almost any other past time..
But if you are motivated by worry about where the market will be when you pull the trigger you need to find another hobby because if you think the price is important, wait until you figure out the cost of a tank of fuel, the cost of maintenance, insurance, depreciation and repairs, and everything else associated with ownership.

The illustrations in the parts manual just show it with the cap on. Thanks for the part number.
I just can’t imagine why that valve stem or check valve wouldn’t be in the port… So only the plastic cap was holding the refrigerant in… or at least trying to as evident by the oily residue.

See pages 2199 thru 2201 in the “Parts” manual for your bus.
Notice it takes 2 of the service valve assembly, item #4, part# 950228.

35 is too fast. I get nosebleeds and dizzy over 30.
My speed must be right. A lot of drivers that go by tell me I am number one. I think that is what one finger means.
