My jake matches the gear selected automatically or manually and disengages on 1st gear. No crazy down shifting for me.

No. Just checked the output from the inverter. It was good. Need to check the outlet.

Those switches should be labeled, “Press For Tailgators”!

I wouldn’t take the bus on the salt because of the corrosive nature of the salt. I’m reluctant to take the toad out there. I have a friend who crews on an LSR car and took a Blazer out there from Wisconsin and onto the salt. Brought the Blazer home and it sat outside. Everytime it rained there were little piles of salt underneath the vehicle and that was after he thought he thoroughly cleaned the underside.

As far as weight goes, I understand they had take big semi trucks and trailers (80,000 pounds) out onto the salt. I also understand that everything has to come off the salt at night, then the entire circus goes back out at sun-up in the morning.

Yes Davy, I know you are diligent in your travels and that’s how it should be used. I know many that rely on it way to often.

I have installed the SilverLeaf dash and love it, loved the CC dash but when it started to go out I quickly learnd that it is run off the PC behind the drivers seat.

Standard type of PC but with some special serial cards that no one supports anymore and runs on Windows 3.1 which is as old as dirt and you can’t get anyone to even talk to you about it.

Yes there are some parts out there that can be bought but I am sure are high dollar and difficult to get installed.

I think Nick Hessler and Miles Circo have various parts for this systme.

The other thing about going to the Prevost analog gauges is the fact that you would have to rebuild your dash because the CC dash assembly was made strictly for the Digital Dash Screen.

A cheaper alternitive is the wirless device and software to install on an iPad that looks like a Digital Dash that Ray Davis manufactured.

I have had his system since the beta testing phase and it works great.

Back then the wirless device was around $8000 and the software was free.

I think Ray can be found on the POG site and don’t know if he took this commercial or not.

    Corey,

Go to Mulate’s any night after 7 to get your dancing in. Good food, and even better music.

During the RV industry’s deep depression of 08 and 09, we saw numerous RV manufacturers go under. It was a struggle of Biblical proportions to even stay in business as a small RV dealer. However, if note is made of those coach builders and converters who did go out, I will wager you will find a strong correlation with high debt loads. Case in point: Monaco who bought up companies like a drunk sailor went down like the Titanic…Country Coach, Alfa, Fleetwood, National RV and on and on. On the other hand, those companies who were essentially debt free…Winnebago and Neumar for instance, remain in business today. I’m not as familiar with the bus conversion end of things…but in general, highly leveraged RV companies had a difficult time surviving. ty

We just had our steer tires (365’s) replaced with new and the current steers put on the Tag axle. All were mounted and balanced. The total cost including Florida tax was $1800. I understand without the discount, just the 365’s would have been close to $1000 each.

I have had the opportunity to use Blue Beacon on two occassions and have been reasonably satisfied with the results each time. I understand that these folks don’t have the pride of ownership that I have, so each time i have instructed them not to use any chemicals,or brushes – and to stay off the roof. I have stayed in the wash lane each time and verified that they followed my instructions. And as ususal after washing while still wet, I have squeeged the windows and chamoised down the stainless. I would prefer and would have paid for the service but it was not available. At any rate – I left with a clean shiny bus.

Thanks to Jon and Tom for the time and energy invested in to Blue Beacon and for obtaining a discount, but maybe more is raising the awareness of the potential Prevost Marketplace for Blue Beacon – that way maybe those of us who prefer to sit on their ass and watch can leave a happy camper.

    my two cents
