Jerry,
If I have a monitor for the house electrical system I am not aware of it. I do have a 12/24 volt house and one serious shortcoming is I really do not have a good way to verify I have battery balance. It uses a Vanner equalizer which is not safely accessible on the side of the road. I have only the ability to measure voltages at the electric buss bars for the house DC electrical system, but I just don’t do that routinely, and likely never will unless a problem emerges.
I just don’t know how I will be aware of a problem unless something pukes unless I add some gauges or digital readouts of the 12 and 24 volt systems at the house batteries. Sounds like a good project for my bus bucket list.

We will see how it works out when we go for the alignment.

We all get the rubber smell, but sounds like you’re flat spotting the tires. I would bet the Air Force One is not releasing and your dragging the tires.
I always install my own M & G and I hook a 50′ air hose to the bus and car. Then by hand with a helper, move the car and have the helper apply the bus brakes to assure they apply and release. Easy to do and at least you know it’s working correctly.

There shouldn’t even be a window in that door. But there is, and I want it to work if I ever have to get in that door if the outside handle fails. With it down I can reach in and use the inside handle in that case.

I’ll keep you posted in around two weeks.
The owner said they’re working on two Prevosts now, both different converters. It’s just more convenient for everyone if quality repair facilities are located in various States that can work on the chassis or house.

Jimmy, we make the trip from Knoxville to Jamestown often, and in fact in the last two weeks I had 2 round trips at 650 miles per leg.
On those trips I had a purpose and did not break up the trip. On others when we have time we have gotten into the pabit of stopping northbound at Lodi Station Outlets, exit 204 on I-71 in Ohio, and finishing the trip the followin g morning. They allow parking if you call or email ahead, and they will have some forms to sign. They have overnight security, and we usually end up having something in the food court and doing a little shopping. Southbound if we break up the return trip we likely will stop at the KY welcome center south of exit 178 on I-71 / I-75.
Vonore to BUF is a long trip and even if you pound the ground at a high speed you are going to be worn out. BTW, if you opt to not stay at Lodi Station at the same exit there is a Pilot and Love’s, and at exit 196 there is a rest area we have stayed the night in. Rest areas are not my first choice unless I can stop early to get the end spot so we can extend slides, something we can do at Lodi Station.
Do a Google earth view and you will see what I mean.
BTW, fuel up in Conneaut OH, just before the PA state line. Fuel in NY and PA is staggering in price. It has a new Loves.

Tom,
In the 26 years we’ve been camping using 50 Amps, I’ve never had an issue with the voltage. Also, with all the “plastic” 45-footers that are every bit as tall as a Prevost, don’t you think a lot of the campgrounds take that into account as far as tree-trimming etc.? Yes, there were times we needed to disconnect the car, like with a back-in spot (Pleasant Harbor near Phoenix!), but disconnecting the car is not really a big deal. Camping out in Brookshire (Houston West) a couple months ago, I thought I’d have a problem with the trees, but with the sharp turning radius I had no problems. I think there are a lot more good campgrounds out there than you think, that will have no problem having space for a Prevost. -

My Jun-Air is approx 20 yrs old, still quiet and running. A couple of months ago was throwing the breaker and not holding air. Called junair for thoughts and advice. A couple of reasonable priced parts and all has been good again. I believe their pumps can be rebuilt. Try tech support, very helpful.

I also had a stuck motor on the Royale I had and did the same thing, a tap to the motor and all was well. You have to run them, worse thing you can do is not cycle once a month as Rudy has pointed out.

I’ve had one air line rupture because of rubbing on the seat frame but that was a fast leak and easy to locate. My slow leak was the main switch which drops all air for entry/exit or restores normal driving position.

Dick, he has not seen the coach, he made a comment that when I got it I should take him to a StLouis Cards game and do some tailgating… In not really into the tailgating with a bunch of drunk bankers!!!

I am posting this photo for Tom (TX Prevost) and he will likely post an explanation.

Thanks for all the feedback. I have provided Explorer RV my bill of sale as well as the current value from Liberty. Will call them back tomorrow (after I cool down) and try to have a rational discussion about where we are. Jon that is way to good of you, however I cannot have you do the appraisal for double my dues. Should I not be convencing with Explorer RV tomorrow I will pay you triple dues and a large bowl of shrimp & okra gumbo with a side of potato salad.
