Wow Dan… that was scary… when we had the ’98 H3-45 we suddenly heard some loud wind noise so I began investigating to find the small window above the passenger door was coming out… we were able to pull over and duct tape it back in … when we got home I had the glass company come and check them all to find that all the rubber glue (?) that holds them in was drying out and needed to be replaced so we had them all redone… so glad we got a warning. Did you have all the others checked?

I wouldn’t mess with it. All three of my coaches have been at 135 +/- a pound or two. Doesn’t seem to be an issue…..

If the problem is pneumatic, there’s a 3 port Norgren valve in the curb side engine compartment mounted on the forward facing wall. That Norgren controls the air flow to the door.

Joel, good idea to use the wires, if Dick reads this i was thinking that there are some spare wires run from rear junction box to steer compartment maybe he could use those for additional diff temp gauge, would only need short wires from diff to rear junction box, maybe easier than running new wires from axle to dash ?

I thought the driving test quite through. The driving test required me demonstrating the air brake system. We did about 45 minute driving test which included a parallel parking test between pylons with instructions to not touch the curb or be farther than 18 inch away from it. I thought interesting that I was instructed to drive it to the DMV to take the test. She took off one point on the whole test because I forgot to put my turn indicator on when pulling out of the parallel parking test which was in a closed off parking lot.

Thum Insurance was not able to find a company with a better agreed value rate and coverage that our SafeCo renewal. So far three companies are much higher.

I always stay at Cecil Bay exit 32. Not fancy, gravel and dusty during dry conditions, but easy in and out pull through, no tree worries and 280. Power has never been an issue. Very elderly couple runs it, be patient.

Thank you one and all for your comments and I’ve tried all of them today. I know the batteries are good because they crank the generator without a problem. I’m going over again tomorrow to crawl around the inverter bay for lights, resets etc, recommended by Jeff and Jim Lane. Jeff also made the recommendation to check the 50 amp service etc.
I’m in a new section of the park but where I’m parked there was a DP plugged into power without complaint. I know the managers very well and will have them check it just in case. It’s frustrating and with winter coming on I need to have the portable heaters working when it drops below 40. No freezer here as yet but its coming in a couple weeks so I need to get this power situation handled.
Some have mentioned a master switch that turns on/off all lights in the bus. I wish my bus had that but it doesn’t.

Yes, they own a 1992 Marathon 40 footer. Several times now he has hosted the Marathon Coach Club event at the Supreme Court building.

John…..you might try a mobile truck repair.
Most of them have ladders. Another RV in your parking area might have a “LiL Giant” ladder stored in a bay.
The bolts which hold the cover in place are 1/4X20. Road repair trucks carry a lot of misc stuff so likely probably have some spares.
With the cover coming off sort of says the hold down bolts might also be laying somewhere on the roof.

Harry that sewer hook up looks like a previous owner mod. Should have been a plastic screw plate like on boats that opened to make the connection. Still had to reach underneath but at least you could see.
