  • Those flappy thingies

We keep breaking the clear plastic covers over our green switches for doors and fans. Does anyone know where I can buy replacements and how they pop off?

My guess is they pop off because they are being forced up too high or othewise knocked off the switch.

I’d leave them off with the exception of any that might open the valves on the holding tank. I would glue those in position so it is impossible to push that switch.

Those switches should be labeled, “Press For Tailgators”!

While I sure like the concept of emptying a holding tank to persuade tailgaters to back off, my toad is the first tailgater that will get the pudding.

You’re right, they haven’t been taken care of. Flipped up too hard or left up and caught on something walking by.

But they do serve a useful purpose, ie keeping the bedroom door closed, which is not unimportant when traveling with one’s teenager.
