Karl,
We have stayed at Lakeside Landing Marina & RV Resort on our trips to Virginia. It is located outside of Pell City, Alalbama. It is about 5 – 8 miles off of Interstate. We have been there in 42 foot Class A’s. They have pull throughs and full hook ups. Sites are either gravel or grass.

I am not going to let all you plastic Prevost owners influence me. I like stainless.
Hammer down Truk……..Sweet looking ride.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments and wellwishes. You’ve made me feel very much at home. Thanks to Prevost, the Richmond BC and Nashville TN service centers, and the overall motorcoaching experience, My dad and I had the time of our lives. I love the bus and being an engineer I tend to get wrapped up in the mechanicals, but it’s the memories that these fine machines and this lifestyle afford that are what it’s all about. To spend the quality one-on-one time that I did with my Father will always be with me. We both hope we can do it again soon, but we both know opportunities are rare… but when they appear, we must sieze ’em! Safe travels! 🙂
Thanks!

The Watchdog does have a dedicated input.

Al , it is a better ride smoother not as much sway and the Trans retarder is much better than the jake I am not sure the 365’s make much difference on the front the roads across the country are the shits lots of pot holes and cracks in the roads , it still thumps when you go over bridge joints not much sway when big trucks pass you , I will get back to you after more time on the road

Charles,
I use the heavy duty truck green stuff concentrate and mix my own. Depends on what you have in yours, could be extended.

I have seen something similar where there was a very small air leak at a filter gasket. Filter was not installed tight enough and it sucked air…very little, but enough to make it surge. It eventually got to where it lost prime and that is how we found it.
This may not be your issue, but wouldn’t hurt to look…

Thanks for posting Jeff, it is a problem for the unsuspecting owner.
A few years back I had service done at a facility who services Prevosts. The front brake calipers were over greased causing the caliper to not release fully and ended up in Nashville with a 2,0000 bill. The same shop also screwed up the transmission drain plug and that needed repaired.
Be careful about who works on your Bus.

I think most likely the original owner lost the original key(s). Some of the Corwin locks use blanks that are the same as the Schlage SC1 blank.
Jon, does your key have any letters of numbers on it that could help me ID the blank?

The TWO of you deserve a LOT of credit, and I am sure the the two ladies also deserve a lot of credit.
Thank you all for this site.
The 1000 members have also become an instrumental part of the sites success,
All that being said, your success in managing that 1000 membership in the a positive, educational, well meaning manor is no easy task in itself.
Congratulations to Jon & Tom, and the other 997 other contributors to this great success !!!

Yes, you may run same size tires but with different load ranges as duals on the same axle provided you inflate all tires to no more than the maximum inflation limit of the lowest load range tire. Keep in mind, the tires must match within 1/4” diameter (3/4” circumference); so if you are running tires of different manufacturers, tread depths or patterns, it would be wise to confirm that they match within these limits.
The same would apply to the steer, as long as the lower load range tire is capable of carrying the axle load. However, it is generally preferred that the steer tires match in all ways possible, and mismatch of this type would normally only be seen in an emergency situation and would be corrected upon return of the vehicle to the maintenance facility.
The above is from the Bridgestone truck tire site.
“Tires must match within 1/4″ diameter” meaning that Bridgestone has defined the limit from their perspective.
