Get some rest and hammer down Tom! I’ve been home for a week! Itchin to get going again! Welcome to the wonderful world of H ownership – great looking bus!
-
I am not going to let all you plastic Prevost owners influence me. I like stainless.
Hammer down Truk……..Sweet looking ride.
-
Congratulations on the new bus, how was your purchase experience, what type of things did you have to do or will do to zero it out.
May many safe & joyous miles be in you and Nancy’s future.

Nice bus Tom , Pretty view of the mountains there , enjoy the trip

WOW…what an eye catching paint job. I can see why you were attracted to that “H”
What’s the mileage Camp Marathon to home base ?
-
None of you are paying attention to details. Another huge piece of news has been announced by a member in a subtle way and there hasn’t been a single mention of it.
Whoever notices it first, gets next year’s membership dues to PC for free.

What ? Dick finally pulling the trigger ? Congrats Tom and Nancy…..ain’t cross country with an empty bus great ?
-
Keep looking. Dick’s announcement kind of oozed out. The one I am talking about is right on this thread.

There’s a lot of H-itis going on here. Congrats Larry and Diane on you new ’05 Liberty. She’s a beaut! 😉 Please tell me it’s not located in British Columbia, CN! LOL! 🙂

Congratulations Tom and Nancy, have a safe and fun trip going home. Ann said that after you fix it up she is 1st in line to buy it!
Also, can’t forget Larry and Diane, a Liberty H3! Need pictures of all these new buses!

Larry & Diane,
You sneaky buggers, you’ve been hiding in the weeds…..
Beautiful H, now give us a few details.
Al – 2,680.
Paul – You always have surprises and pretty much have to expect some issues. I knew I would do tires and batteries when I got home. It was suppose to be meticulously maintained, but that turned out to be a stretch at best. I did a full 10K service on it including tranny and gen, then got some Marathon specific things corrected and all is good.
At this point I have no issues, other than a big hole where the original TV was located which now is in the Marathon dumpster. Seems the owner forgot to tell me the TV was scrap. I knew the bus was sound, no rust or corrosion and no damage on the exterior or underneath thanks to our long time friend Brian E who gave it his seal of approval before we headed to Oregon.
It’s not a perfect world when buying and I was fortunate enough to drive it 250 miles before buying. That’s another story to come involving the pleasures of importing a bus from Canada.

Thanks everyone !! We are excited… going to Florida next week to pick it up !
It’s going to be a big change for us from a 98 to an 05… and I have to say I love the Vantare… love their electrical system… it’s still an awesome bus..it needs a new home though !!
I’m really not sneaky Tom… this all just happened overnight… haven’t even seen it yet… just pictures !!
Would have bought an 04 Parliament but the owner wouldn’t get real with us… I LOVE the way the Parliament is put together.
Tom…. you & Nancy have a safe trip home… we’ll have to have an “H” lover’s party !! (might make Jon skirm a bit) LOL
Will post pictures soon !
Cheers, Diane
