Who did the work? And of course all of us will be curious of parts and labor costs if you care to share.

MemberJuly 20, 2023 at 7:06 pm in reply to: New AquaAir unit installed and workingI want to replace mine, tired of fixing it.
More tired of trying to find someone to fix it.
I have asked a local supplier a month ago to install a basement unit (Coleman?) but not a word even though I call every week so tired of trying to find one too.

Clint maybe when you were laying on the brakes it was the train horn was imaginary?

Hi Clint, I had a similar issue on my bus, mine didn’t work when i got it home. All 4 of mine were packed full of clay from the mud dobbers. If your steering wheen center is like mine, a light press activates the Prevost Horn under the front bumper, and a full send activates my 4 train horns which are amazing. There is a solenoid under the steer compartment that activates them. If you look close there might be a manual override on the valve you can use to test them. Good luck, and make sure everyone is ready if they go off under testing.

MemberJuly 13, 2023 at 11:24 pm in reply to: Update w/Pics Aux Air replaced and ManifoldOh…ref the two yellow air lines, I really do not know off the top of my head. Do know the 3/8 comes after a factory Norgren water filter attached to the back wall and goes to a plastic manifold attached to the ceiling of the “under the driver’s seat bay” which provides aux air to the seat, air horn, steering wheel tilt, spare tire bay shutters, the suspension 5-stack valves (ride height / leveling etc), converter air, dash bus air system valve on ceiling of spare tire bay, bus air system valve in the evaporator valve, tag lift norgen and likely something else I cannot recall.
Can you post a photo of where you see them? Perhaps something someone added….?

I agree. Gloss and flash are everywhere. I have two fire proof file cases that travel with us that document everything that has been done to the coach by not only us, but also the previous original owner since 2004. We even have them scanned and saved. We even inherited records for items that were no longer necessary for the coach or even in it due to upgrades (i.e., technology stuff), but that alone showed us just how anally meticulous the previous owner was and gave some comfort that the rest of the maintenance was also being watched and done. We then checked with Prevost and Marathon to find out how many times the coach had been in and sought the input of each. When we learned that it had been to Marathon at least annually every year and Prevost no less than annually, if not 2x per year, we began to feel better and better about our investment. It is literally everything. Nothing will replace “good bones” and remember, low miles doesn’t necessarily equate to a great coach when it comes to a Prevost. In fact, it could be the opposite to some degree. Not driving it can be worse. It’s like a race horse that never gets to run. A “broken-in” coach is well worth it. Like aircraft & yachts, my opinion is that about 1/3 of the value of the coach (if that value could be assigned empirically) is in the maintenance documentation – whether the owner purchased a “replacement whatever” or it was serviced at Prevost or one of the converters or resellers, always look for the records. Ours will be going back to Marathon soon for an interior update to make it ready for the next 10+ years. Yes, all records after that event will also go in those fire proof boxes and will also be scanned to the cloud. You can always get it shined up (and we did that too (see our other post))!

MemberJuly 11, 2023 at 7:31 pm in reply to: how does aux air work and what psi?Lot’s going on here, see in Bold:
My coach had an aux air compressor but was removed before i bought it. I’m installing a Makita mac210q 2gal which fits almost perfectly in bay2 (pics to come). I don’t think I have anything running on aux air other than airbags for leveling.
I was under the assumption that the L/R tanks and acc air tanks valve opens at 90 and they should be at 120 at normal operation. But it appears that the L/R tanks open at 90 to fill the acc only and the acc doesn’t ever fill the L/R tanks.
So here’s my questions
Is this correct, so if my acc air is at 120 then my L/R and airbags can be at 0?
Mike: Yes technically that is correct. And the opposite, your brake system can be at zero and your Aux air can be at 120.
What PSI should I set my compressor at? On at 100 then set 2 regulators at 125?
Mike: Mine cycles between 100 and 120
The airbags are on ACC air right? Just don’t level unless key is on?
Mike: Yes, or if you level via the Converter leveling system like HWH.
Its sounding like i might not even need the compressor or maybe get one without a tank since its not really helpful.
Mike: It is helpful if you have leaks. Also Some busses need air to operate the pocket doors and toilets.
I mainly do day/weekend trips so really want the bus to be aired up all the time ready to move. Once a month I leave a CG at like 5am on a saturday and don’t like having to wait a few minutes to leave as its a loud diesel engine and people are sleeping. At least if the tanks were aired up I’ll be gone in a few seconds.
Mike: It is 100% up to you but i think some will disagree with just starting the bus cold and just taking off is a good idea? For me, i leave early sometimes too, and to be honest i don’t think most folks would even care.

I got one of these with a 10″ screen and 4 wireless cameras for my old RV. Had 2 below mirrors, one high back and oem pointed down so I could watch hitch. The 4th was on my trailer back.
I ripped it out when getting a new coach and plan on doing the same thing as you. Before I had issues with the cam on my 16ft trailer back getting solid signal so used a wireless antenna extension cable and ran the antenna to the front of my trailer which helped a ton. When adding to my Prevost I plan on doing the same with the antenna on the screen and running it all the way to the back roof of my coac
I just wish I could find these types of cameras with an hdmi out and no screen so I could switch between cameras but use a larger screen as ill be putting 24″ monitors above my windshield.
Also it has an option to split screen any 2 cameras so the sel button switches from all 4 screens and 1 split. Wish it had a 2nd split option so I could have L/R while driving and both backups while backing up
One more tip if you drive at night get reverse lights on the trailer and or underbody lights. It’s a lifesaver when backing up or turning at night because It’ll light up the road under the trailer so you can see if it’s pavement or curb or what.

Hi Clint –
Have had great luck with this system and a predecessor wireless camera from them and the customer service (Asia) is quick and helpful. Note, this is a back up system to the current multi-channel camera system that we have in our Marathon H3. We use it as a redundancy and to see areas that we would not be able to see otherwise. They claim it can be expanded to 4 cameras that are also wireless. Hope this helps, Mike

The existing unit has black as the ground, and Red /White.
In this flasher from Grainger, would the black be ground and the red connect to my existing red and green to my existing white?
