  • Best 360 Wireless Camera

Posted by Clint on March 27, 2023 at 6:09 pm

Looking to add a 360 camera system that is wireless to augment the back up camera on a Liberty Coach. Currently building a Stacker trailer to haul Miini Cooper Convertible, Icon Golf Cart, and 4 Horses so would like to have camera on rear of trailer and sides as well as a camera in the horse area.

Currently evaluating the RVS (Rear View Safety) Stonkam, and Haloview. Already eliminated the Furrion System, am not crazy about any products produced by Lippert.

    Any suggestion are appreciated!

    Thanks for your time,

    Clint

    Hi Clint –

Have had great luck with this system and a predecessor wireless camera from them and the customer service (Asia) is quick and helpful. Note, this is a back up system to the current multi-channel camera system that we have in our Marathon H3. We use it as a redundancy and to see areas that we would not be able to see otherwise. They claim it can be expanded to 4 cameras that are also wireless. Hope this helps, Mike

I had one installed 1 year ago and I am very happy with it. I selected the Brigade system. I believe it is what Marathon installs. Pricey, but very high quality. Jeff at ETLC installed it for me and they did a great job. I would do it again in a heartbeat. The only change I would consider is maybe using their 10″ monitor instead of the 7″. But every thing has trade-offs.

I got one of these with a 10″ screen and 4 wireless cameras for my old RV. Had 2 below mirrors, one high back and oem pointed down so I could watch hitch. The 4th was on my trailer back.

I ripped it out when getting a new coach and plan on doing the same thing as you. Before I had issues with the cam on my 16ft trailer back getting solid signal so used a wireless antenna extension cable and ran the antenna to the front of my trailer which helped a ton. When adding to my Prevost I plan on doing the same with the antenna on the screen and running it all the way to the back roof of my coac

I just wish I could find these types of cameras with an hdmi out and no screen so I could switch between cameras but use a larger screen as ill be putting 24″ monitors above my windshield.

Also it has an option to split screen any 2 cameras so the sel button switches from all 4 screens and 1 split. Wish it had a 2nd split option so I could have L/R while driving and both backups while backing up

One more tip if you drive at night get reverse lights on the trailer and or underbody lights. It’s a lifesaver when backing up or turning at night because It’ll light up the road under the trailer so you can see if it’s pavement or curb or what.
