I am not much of a believer of coincidence, especially two different circuits failing at the same time at the same place.

Perhaps a call to Prevost or a service center to see if someone there can describe how the wires are routed. If they are loop fed then the next lights should have failed also. I doubt if they are home runs.

They are on two separate circuits so it has to be a ground issue at that location.

You can also try West Marine.

Also if your city has a sizable commercial electrical supply house, try them.

It’s just a 50amp twist lock plug receptacle.

I had my Boxster S up to about 150 once in Daytona, Florida before needing to hit the brakes for a turn. No chance of a speeding ticket as the venue was the Daytona Speedway. LOL

You have a brass ring and a brass sphere . The sphere is slightly larger than the inside diameter of the ring. The sphere will go through the ring only to the center but will not pass through. You have a torch. To attempt to make the sphere pass through do you heat the ring or the sphere?

Under each 5 stack coil is a “armature”, pt# 54462-31, $36 ea from IMI Norgren. Something else that can get buggered up by moisture, like the Norgren spool valve you mentioned.

    Mike,

I would call Prevost PASS and ask them to find a place near you.

    Steve,

When your parking brake is applied there is no air pressure between the relay valve and the brake chamber. Your parking brakes are applied by very heavy springs and when you release them you are using air pressure to compress the spring. You can work on the modulator valve and hoses within the system and there will be no air pressure and the parking brakes will remain applied.

From the picture, it looks like the hose blew out of the crimped on hose end?

    Maybe a bad crimp job.

Sounds like a defective hose to me, either material and/or workmanship. Where did the hose come from? Who installed it? Was it pre-made? Was it custom made?

There are 2 ac hoses in that location, one high pressure side(discharge) and one low pressure side(suction). They appear identical to each other in construction.

When the OTR ac system was OFF, the pressure in the system equalizes. Neither of these hoses should burst, especially when new.

Our OTR ac hoses I believe are original and the system(R134a) has never leaked.

Here’s a pic of ours. My finger is on the high side hose.
