Just a quick update. It is 8-1.25 all right handed so I ordered couplers from McMaster and threaded rod, new washers, locks, and nuts from Grainger. I am going to use stainless 316 and rebuild all 12 so I don’t have any more breaks and they are 22 years old. Thanks to George for the push to just buiuld it myself with red loctite.

Ron, I thought I would see if you ended up using this? I have a small section where the foam has fallen off and I want to put something on to protect the wood.
Thanks!

I have used hotspots, Starlink, and Verizon home internet 5G. If you are moving around a lot, I would definitely go with Starlink. We have it installed on the roof with magnets which allows us to take it down and move it if we happen to park under trees. We have 150 ft of cable stored behind the front bumper for when on the ground, but most of the time it works well on the roof. Before we mounted it on the roof, we just set it up outside when we stopped which worked as well. Having it on the roof allows us to use it when driving and removes the step of setting it up in most cases.
We have been parked for 3 months at a single location, so I put the Starlink on pause and got a Verizon home 5G which has worked really well. It saved me almost $100 per month and has been very stable. Although I don’t think it is supported, we did go to another location about 4 hours away for a little over a week and still used the Verizon without problem. They do expect a single address unlike Starlink.
Happy to answer any questions.

Thanks for the replies. Turns out that in my coach the bathroom does not have an emergency release on the outside – only the inside. I spoke with Marathon and the answer is to turn off the 12/24V power which resets the lock and then you can push the button to open it. Next time I will know.

That’s fine. I just want to make SURE I understand that all the cables in the picture are POSITIVE cables. The color has me just asking the question. On my coach some positive DC battery cables are also black. Makes me doublecheck my thinking every time.

This weekend I am going to pull out my driver and passenger side double pane windows to have them fixed. I also have one large Prevost side window I need to replace due to a crack.

I must be the odd one out with a Demco Excalibar:
https://www.demco-products.com/rv-towing/tow-bars/excallibar
I like it, except the small red retainers that hold the bars in their storage position can bend very easily if you don’t use the proper procedure to put those bars in their storage position.
The main reason I got it was that I thought Demco made decent products, based on the Air Force One, and I found it for $500 off via eBay.

Actually I have three 24 to 12 converters but the point is and I forget to mention it, the house on my coach was originally set up for series/parallel battery connections. The Li literature said that was OK. It was not. When I found out charging Li batteries through and equalizer was not going to work they were replaced at Relion’s expense with all 24V and the converters added to take care of the 12V needs.

I’m checking on tire availability today, using the Prevost Community discount, waiting to hear back from a local installer right now.

I used this kit for the mounting hardware – Starlink Standard Mount | Gen 3 or 4 and Enterprise – Veritas Vans.
I don’t have a picture handy, but I installed it in the middle of the front of the bus. We put the router and power supply in the equipment space over the passenger seat area. Was pretty easy with power existing in place. Then we ran a cable to the roof and to the front bay which I can manually switch if I want to take it off the roof and place it somewhere to avoid trees.

Terry thanks for the reply. That is what I would like to do, and I plan to install a RO under the kitchen sink for drinking water which is what we have today on our XL. I just didn’t know given their 110-volt pump if they suggested a different approach which is what someone told me. Thanks!
