The hard work that went into Jamestown Advanced Products cannot be even explained. There are folks in this country that just need a job. It might not be the desk job…..it might not be a skilled job. But it is a job, and a job makes you think and may be the job that bridges you to a better job.
The folks that keep shipping our jobs offshore and telling people we are going to have new green energy jobs are globalists eroding our country. It is very hard for 2nd generation companies to keep going once the founder has left so I appluade the conviction of the ownership and employees.
I have worked in a skilled manufacturing sector of the Aviation Industry for 35 plus years and I still am working because I have to support the Marathon Prevost :-). Aerospace out sources in modules fuselages, wings, etc to countries around the world for political and economic reasons.
I helped the following company get started in business in 1991. I use to walk through Jeff Bonner’s bedroom to a shed in his backyard where he was making parts for something we patented eventually. Today he spans 65,000 sq ft next to the airport and everyday is still a struggle … we have truly been blessed.

It is harder and harder to find people to be sheetmetal mechanics, avionincs techs, machinists etc… we really need to have a awakening the in the country to “Buy American”. We do not need all this junk from China and need to protect our country from the stealing of intellectual property. But this will only stop with the election of people that get it.

How does one go about getting the pulse number?

2 separate issues.
Lets start with the AUX air gauge on the dash. on our coach, which is an XLII and not an “H”, with the key off, that gauge is connected to the 2 separate 4-6 port plastic manifolds in the back of the steering compartment and is connected to 8-10 different things.
1. The line to the gauge on the dash.
2. The drivers air seat.
3. The supply line for the tag lift toggle switch.
4. The air line to the tilt-telescopic foot switch.
5. The supply line that goes all the way back to the belt tensioners.
6 It is the air supply for for one of the Norgrens just below them and the 5 port “thing” that has the 5 electric solenoids just below it them.
If any one of these systems has a leak, with the key off, the gauge will drop.
Whew…Don’t take my word for it. The Prevost Car website has the pneumatic diagrams that you can refer to. Here is a link “Technical Publications” area that has the pneumatic diagrams.
We have spent more than a few hours in that area running down air leaks.
The Front Suspension leak(s). Here is just another little thing that you can do to help find the leaks. With the engine running raise the front end as high as it will go, turn the key off without returning the level low selector to “Drive” height. Then spray as much of the front suspension, air lines and Norgrens with your favorite bubble solution as possible. Raising the front end will add just a few P.S.I. to the front suspension system and might make the leak(s) a little easier to spot.

Howard system claim… was better steering control in wind conditions. Aggressive or passive depending on driver setting keeping bus in lane and less driver fatigue.

Al yes Rick May (Parliament/USA) had told me when IFS showed up Howard system went away. I’ve never tried to use mine, understand the concept but not sure of exact operation.
I have a pushbutton (Marathon) dash switch for ACTIVE STEER. Rotary knob on dash next to a third air pressure guage, and a rocker switch similiar to and located with cruise control and jake switches labeled TRIM.

Prevost Houston changed all mine to led’s on top on a level 3 service trip a few years ago for $150 bucks. Sometimes you get a deal.
