Prevost Clearance/Cab Light Late 90’s XL’s
Was up on top of coach this weekend looking for water leak and found that all the lens on clearance lights were developing age cracks. Found one replacement lens at Prevost in stock part number 930178. The package showed up as Truck-Lite PN 8861A. Called Truck-Lite folks because I needed 4 more and they told me had a few in stock.. not high demand. Also said I had to go through distributor. So, I asked them who they had sold large orders of lens to in last year.
I called Great American Company in Atlanta and found they had 8861A Lens as well as 1150A Assembly.

$5.30 each for lens same as Prevost but fill my order. 20 year old parts getting harder to find.
The whole assembly is Truck-Lite PN 1150A which includes C193 bulb.

they have led assemblies available. I have changed all on my 98 XLE. About 8$ each. Much brighter.

Prevost Houston changed all mine to led’s on top on a level 3 service trip a few years ago for $150 bucks. Sometimes you get a deal.

I remember reading here on the forum that some older coaches changed their front headlights to the new LED’s and had trouble with their electrical system. This is not a problem with the marker lights?
I talked with Glen the other day and he was all lit up then too. Although me thinks it had little to do with electric lighting!
