That’s all it should take, Gil. There have been two problems
with it, mostly me.First, I have been terribly busy and just haven’t had the time to
go check.Second, the intent is to filter PUP so that it can be truly honest
and open, which means that someone has to actually KNOW who is
applying. Since I am still in the working world, I don’t get
around as much and know as many people by name, so I have to check
with others to make sure that you are eligible. What I am hopeful for
is that someday the system emails me a notice.That said, I just added you to the forum. Welcome!

Jon – Tom, we really enjoyed the two days we spent with you and the new friends we made at the rally. It would have been perfect had the weather cooperated. As you know, this was our first Prevost Community Rally and we learned a lot, it reenergized my desire to build an XL II. Hopefully we will see you at more of these rallies.

If you are 1 inch above the full mark on the stick drain a couple of gals 1 in above the full mark puts it where the rods can contact the oil in the pan on a 8v92 and you will have a mess

With our previous Country Coach Affinity we had the salon awning fly out in Oklahoma on I-44. Thank goodness for bungee cords, I had a half dozen short mini ones aboard.
Our awning had one L shape hook which had to have been installed too close to the end. Installed another L hook and moved the original. For the rest of our CC ownership those L hooks were checked often.
I agree with Jon, the broker should have stepped up finding the issue with hardware. The L shape hooks are nothing new and used with most brands of manual awnings. Putting the L hooks aside….… What really holds the awning to the side is spring tension. In our CC case we were advised by our salesmen the spring tension should be checked. We increased the tightness by 5 turns. This was enough to hold the awning tight along double hooks never had another problem.
Tom makes a good point about the awning keeping trash off the slide top. From the service tech opinion about leaving the awning off that is really poor advice. Marathon put that on your bus for a several reasons beside keeping the heat of the sun out of the bus.
Proper torque of the spring along with L hooks for addional safety you will be trouble free in high wind conditions.

I forgot………..since I still can’t post a new thread on the site………..my rear view TV monitor is showing me a reverse image on the screen! The image is great but it reverses the image, the left lane traffic shows up on tthe right of the monitor and the curbside lane is on my left. I have done absolutely nothing to the closed circuit TV system. Any ideas?

Just replaced the alt on mine and the instructions with the new one were EMPHATIC relative to rigidly supporting the wire as it related to the alt. Engine vibration will cause a failure at the wire connector if the wire is not adequately supported. Guess what a hot wire bouncing around in the engine bay/against the alt can do? Good thing to check periodically.

Couple more things…where can I confirm what the axel weight limits are? Also I have never scaled out a Bus or coach with a tag axel…
is there any trick to doing that on a truck scale or do you have to scale it out seperately?
I was thinking about taking it with full fuel and water and the family with nothing else it it which is how it is right now and seeing what I have to work with weight wise…

When I get duffle bag full of dirty clothes I UPS it home ,what I don’t have I buy I Travel 8 months of year leave home 1st of April come home end of November it works for me .I will be up the Alaska hwy about mile marker 225 for one week near upper half way that’s the river doing a clinic and all over Canada east to west good luck email me if u have problems up there I own some shops up there

On my Royale, the switch was under the sink along with the Insta-Hot. I think there was a dedicated breaker in the 120v panel in the bedroom. There are 4 snap disks under the small panel inside the box where the Webasto is located and it’s possible one of those that senses the water temp has gone bad. In other words, it thinks the water temp is at the correct temperature and has shut off the heat coils. Snap disks may not be the correct description, could be limit switches, but that’s what they look like and you can check them by using a meter and checking for continuity. Mine was a 97, so your’s may be different.

Used to be the long wheels base was the quick way to identify entertainer coaches, or the five roof airs or the lack of awnings.
Now with the longer wheelbase on motorhome shells on the X-3 when you spot coaches, look for the stainless to go no higher than the top of the bay doors since that is how the entertainer coaches are set up.

Power every thing down, let sit a few minutes and reboot entire bus.
Get under bus check all connections are pushed in and secure to transmission.

My house is just 1 mile from the Stage Stop. As previously said, it is nothing fancy but a place to stop. Worst problem is smelling all that great food cooking!!! Makes a person hungry!!! Ozark Highland is 1 block west of Highway 14 and 65 intersection. Again nothing fancy but it has a very steep entrance that is hard for some RVs to enter. If anyone plans to stop there, be very careful entering. We are not going to be here this weekend but will be around Monday. Will stop over to say Hi if I see your coach on Monday. I can bring you to show you my OTR coach to RV conversion project of Olga, a 91 Prevost, number M-1852, not far from your number.
