George,
I’m a trl guy so pulling a toad around is not something I do but 2 things jump out at me.
1st you have Pirelli tires on there which I’m not a fan of. They are one of the most over hyped tires out there, they have awful longevity and wear patterns are suspect.
Also it looks like in one of the pictures there’s a air leveling valve, if so that axle is walking all over while towing. Is that what I see correctly?

Have you considered using a PDG brand head from Powerhouse Generators? They have them on Ebay and should be as simple as getting the correct bell housing spec and rpm.
-
Did you end up solving your slow window opening/closing issue? I was wondering if there was a way to convert from the air to something mechanical. Did you run into anything?

I am going to change my fuel lines while I am here, Does anyone have a brand preference for the Fabric hose? I plan on reusing the fittings.

- We have a friend that brought a Bluebird Wanderlodge it had a motorized lift opposite the door hinge ,,call it the a pillar .This lift had a fold down seat and it went up and down you could swivel it and have access to coach floor with stepwell out.sorry I don’t have any brand information, it did through bolt to the coach top and bottom.

My only experience there was several years ago and was excellent.
Parking was a bit limited if you’re towing a trailer and I soke with several people.

I should of been more clear, yellow valve should be closed after you air up belt tension, that leak is probably the check valve by the red switch above the motor to release pulley pressure.
The gauge in the front run box is your Marathon aux air. Dash gauge has nothing to do with that.
When you turn off the key air is locked in by the norgren valves so if no leak between valve and air bag you won’t lean. Dash Prevost aux gauge can read zero.
On your coach if you join both air systems (open yellow valve) you may have to turn key 1 click to the right to allow air in.
I’ll go deeper in the morning. There is a ton of info on this if you go into old posts and search.

2015 we talked about this a lot

Elliot, Pre synthetic atf Allison output shaft seals aren’t perfectly compatible with synthetic atf, or so I was told by the man that invented Transynd and the TES295 atf spec, Tom Johnson. Our 1995 Allison B500 eventually started leaking so I changed the seal with the new synthetic compatible seal, Allison# 29552705. So keep an eye on your output shaft seal.
Here’s a thread I did a couple of yrs ago here on the subject here on PC:

As much as I can remember Liberty has had two standard configurations on their coaches. A 24V Elegant Lady had a single 24V 50DN. The four house batteries were cabled in series and parallel so the house had 12 and 24V power available. The inverters were 24V inverters.
The Classic was a 12 volt house coach with a 24V 50DN to handle the chassis which needed 24V mostly because of the load or the OTR. The house was 12V and had an alternator of about 145 amps and instead of the 4 house batteries of the Elegant Lady used 3 8D batteries cabled in parallel. I believe the inverters were 12V.
I cannot say if the coach pictured originally came with a 50DN, but if it was set up as shown it is likely the coach did not have OTR.

Last time I bought Equal it was $10 per wheel. So at $80 at every tire change or repair I could replace 16 sets of tires before Equal cost what Centramatics cost.
-
The only way to get Equal under the bead is for the tire to be mounted with loose Equal inside it. Most if not all balancing media comes in a sealed plastic bag that is placed inside the tire just prior to inflation and seating the bead. The bag breaks as the bus is driven. There is no way to get media under a seated bead.
Valve stems must have the filtered Schrader valve and as a precaution airing the tire or checking pressure requires an initial blast of air to blow any small bits of media away from the Schrader valve seal.

where are you located?
have you thought about going to see Jeff Rowe at East Tennessee Luxury Coach in Vonore Tennessee?

Mike:
Nice job on the board. I am very competent with mechanical issues but very incompetent with electronics, must admit I am a bit envious of your electronics skills.

Chuck, thanks for your response. I think early on I asked what the best rpm for the Detroit Series 60 was to get the best fuel economy and got some answers like “if you’re worried about fuel economy, you’re driving the wrong vehicle” and the like. That was fine cause we like to have a good laugh but I know all engines have a sweet spot where they operate the most efficiently so thanks for shedding some light on that topic for me. ;^)
