I hope the issues I have with my 2021 Grand Cherokee have been eliminated.
Because the GC with electronic power steering is prone to severe shimmy under certain circumstances I opted to have the kit specific to the 2021 GC and Durango installed. Untold, until you get the operating manual ( a single page ) is when operating the kit will drain the GC battery in 3 hours, So I installed the kit, but there is no way to do a pre-trip inspection to verify the kit is operating.
The second larger problem is when the GC is taken from towing mode and back to driving mode, with or without the towing kit operating, you have no power steering for about 45 minutes. Evidently on GCs with the transfer case in neutral for towing the system disables the power steering, and when returning the transfer case to driving it takes 45 minutes to have the GC system restore use of power steering.
I am working my way up the food chain at Jeep to get a resolution on these issues that have been known for several years. If you need more info go to IRV2 web site and search for “death wobble” and GC power steering issues.

I attended it a few years ago. There were probably 40 entertainer buses parked in a Walmart parking lot, all open for tours. There were long autograph lines for some of them if the artist was inside. I guess it could be fun if you want a bunch of strangers hanging out in your rig.

I also have a late model ’96 with IFS. I am curious as to the mileage you have on your bus? And if the tie rods were bad, or is this preventative maintainance?

Any lumber many of us do. If Jon Wehrenberg ever gets next to me on the Interstate … no one will get past us.
I’m on three or four Prevost oriented Facebook pages. Everyone once in a while someone posts able driving their bus 70 to 75mph on the highway. When I ask if they knew what speed the tires were rated for, they are awfully surprised.

In addition to the above suggestions we have Magnum Hydraulics and Fastenal stores both have DOT fittings and both are chains.

Ralf, Since about 95 our buses and daily drivers use R134a freon and large R134a quik release fittings. Nothing unusual about our bus fittings. You can get the gauges and hoses anywhere.
When I remove the R134a quik release fitting from my hoses, I can then use the hoses to charge my R22 freon CruiseAirs or R12 ac systems. -
After talking to Gordon from Canada and looking at his pictures I decided to do the same as Gordon. Yesterday I pulled off the passenger tag caliper and took it apart, to my amazement the grease looked great it was clean and were loose and everything looked really good, the seals were a little hard and 0-rings a little flat so I started to put it back together and I decided to freshen it up while it was out, I found a minor rebuild kit, Meritor part #15001 so I ordered it. The kit is pretty complete springs-seals-piston boot-lots more. be here this weekend.

I know we should be concerned, but I feel things have gone a bit overboard here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I personally do not know anyone who has contracted the virus, not that i know a lot of people, but when I ask this question to others, I have not come across anyone who knows anyone who has contracted the virus…..hmmm
I guess is begs to ask the question, is this frenzy actually helping reduce the spread, or just making everyone paranoid.
On the bright side, my daily commute to work has dropped from 105 minutes down to 45.

Regardless of the number, I use shock bushings to replace the red urethane bushings in the sway bar dogbones, and the last time I was at Prevost Nashville the parts guy just gave me a bag of them because apparently shocks and sway bar dog bones wear out the bushings routinely. I imagine those bushings are available at almost any NAPA or truck parts store.
