Where to get the correct fittings?
I I am taking my coach to Prevost on Wednesday for new air bags and was cleaning it up and one of my push in fittings came apart.
Where can I get correct fitting at around town? Will something at Home Depot work to get me to Prevost in 2 days?

See if there’s a Swagelok store or dealer in town. Those are the best.
I doubt if you can get those at HomeDepot.
Maybe NAPA will have or can quickly get DOT compression fittings for you.

Does the replacement come complete with the brass fitting or just the orange plastic fitting?
Do you know what size air lines Prevost used on a 2001 XL2?

If you have a Parker-Hannifin store will have them. So will Fleetpride where get our air parts in denver. You might even try a truckstop shop. Ive gone to our local T/A truckstop which has parts counter.

In addition to the above suggestions we have Magnum Hydraulics and Fastenal stores both have DOT fittings and both are chains.

I buy my SMG Pushlok and Parker Fittings on ZORO.com. Shipped to the house.

Replace it with compression. You didn’t mention what the airline source was, assuming aux air.

I want to replace the Norgrens on my 96 XL. Zorro has lots of size choices on the 10 packs of Parker fittings. Was wondering if you could advise me which particular sizes to stock up on in order improve my chances of minimizing local trips for ones I will need to complete the project?

Yes it is the Aux Air. I am heading to Fleetpride now and I will see if they have DOT compression fittings.

I went to Fleetpride and replaced 3 fittings with compression fittings.

Can I ask why your combining your Prevost air and Marathon Aux air with your yellow valve?
That should be a no no.

Ditto what Bernie said unless your needing to keep the slide seals inflated. The aux compressor makes tons of water and with the yellow valve open, you can induce water into the Prevost aux side of your air system.
