They have heat pumps. I think they are 12000 btu. I really like these so far. We have only had to run three of the units and it was 99 degrees out side and the coach was very cool.

Thanks Mike! Since I do most of all the Labor I will spend the extra for copper, I got a good buddy that is a contractor so he can get it a little cheaper and I have a couple of Junction boxes to chose from solar job at house.

The pictures would be of and around the area in question. Maybe find out where the stuff exits the motorhome, and start there working back as far as you can to the tank. Also your pushbuttons lit up.

Microair makes them but have to buy through dealer. I used Tropicalmarine in Ft Lauderdale. Guy named Howard had best price and seemed to know what he was talking about. Wild variation on pricing – and none of it good. The installation process is some sort of hell. Converters proud of hiding the PLM boxes in the most difficult to access places imaginable. That is the reason I am moving all mine to first bay curbside. Getting too old to fold into a pretzel and then work.
BTW: tip on Tropicalmarine came from ETLC. Those guys are great. I’m one of their biggest fans.
FYI: there is a company in PA called Flight Systems, Inc that can test and possibly rebuild those circuit boards.
Told you more than you wanted to know!

Always interested to see what people are doing.
Prices are definitely more affordable then cruise air repairs/replacement
What year and conversion do you have

2 fingers worth of wear, or 1″. Piston has to be adjusted all the way back in so the new pads will fit over the caliper.

Jim, the motor works but sounds like a corn grinder. Looks like I will have to take it out tomorrow, Sandy say’s its worse than the squeel from my hearing aids

I do have the inverter (110v) power and have a power line that is going back to the batter charger / tender for the bus batteries (it is a “genius” charger that charges 24v or 12v). The challenge would be going down the road with an extension cord from the middle bay (closest 110 outlet) externally to the battery area (rear)… Not sure that would be desirable!
So, I think I’ll just work on getting the bypass-size belts and run the alternator only until I get to a real place for service.
Thanks!

I would not want to use the bus air for both running down the road and when I am parked as you stated. If the bus air goes out you are in trouble to keep the coach comfortable. That is why I use the bus air while traveling and the roof airs while stationary. But if the bus air goes out I can start the gen set and use the 4 roof airs to keep the coach comfortable and I have one of the cruise airs still operating. The 4 roof airs are 15k each and the cruise air is 15 k and that will keep the coach more than comfortable while driving down the road if needed. Our last bus had 2 – 21/2 ton central air conditioners with no bus air and if one of them quit working it was a bad day in the hot summer!
