XLII Wiper Motor Replacement
We recently traded our 2001 Royale prototype for a 2002-S2 Royale and are in the process of working out the kinks. I would like to hear from some one on the proper steps on removing the wiper motor.
Another thing I am trying to work through is that the engine fan clutch should ingage with the dash air on and it does not. The Prevost wireing diagam shows a high and low speed that I was not aware of and am not sure if it applys to my machine.

Maybe there’s a relay issue Ed with the fan, mine goes to high speed as soon as the A/C clutch engages.
Not sure about the wiper motor, maybe someone will have some experience with that.

I have no experience with the wiper motor but I heard it is more fun eating bees than it is swapping out that motor.

See if you can jump power directly to the motor to test it, before you even think about changing it out.

Jim, the motor works but sounds like a corn grinder. Looks like I will have to take it out tomorrow, Sandy say’s its worse than the squeel from my hearing aids

Ed,
The low and high speed fan works with DDEC for engine temperature control. The A/C puts the fan in high speed anytime the compressor is running.

Got motor out, ball bearing bad, cause water in gear case. new bearing in hand and will have it bak together this pm. Where did water come from? Came down shaft from somewhere. Will update with photos and bearing part no#
