The only thing I can come up with is either bearing developing trouble or fluctuations in voltage or a developing problem with the brushes unless it is a brushless motor.

When I fire mine up in the summer, I use the “12 volt” water heater switch on the bedroom panel.
It’ll fire the unit without having to run the furnace. -
Jim: When you took your coach to the Detroit shop, did they have a chassis dyno you could run the coach on?

My coach is a home build and is all solid oak cabinetry. Maybe this won’t work for you but I plan on getting a TV slightly larger than the opening make a hinge door mount the TV to the door so I’ll have use of the space in behind

Roof heat pumps, toe kick heaters, AquaHot, and a couple of small cube heaters will do nicely to load my 12.5K Onan over 50%.

Al, maybe I should have you come up here and work on mine a bit. It isn’t horrible, but sure not as good as yours. You could go get some smoked fish from Russ. Just sayin…..

I changed all mine over to brass= less leaks with temp change. DOT truck supply will have both types.

I had watchdog issues with my previous bus (2003) and a real pain trying to determine the issues. Jon is correct, replacements are hard to find. Finally between Bill at Liberty and the manufacturer,were able to trouble shoot and finally had to make up another data board to get me up and running.
Call Bill at Liberty in Chicago as he has a test bench to trouble shoot.,.Good luck..
