When I want to really fill my tank I will lean the coach. But I also know the risk. Fuel expands when it warms and it warms because there is a steady flow of return fuel from the engine. So when I am filling to excess I make sure I am going to drive a long distance right away, not sit at high idle while I eat lunch with the OTR on. Our tanks are set up so we cannot fill more than 90% or so under normal conditions.
Also when confronted with an excessively large slope I use the level low to get the chassis near level. Fortunately there are not many extreme slope fuel islands.

Backing up also causes of unintended meetings of coach and trailer

I think if you are using the HWH to level the coach and you drop the front end with the Prevost level low knob and then return the knob back to the drive position, the HWH is going to try to re-level the coach on its own.

Would you feel better if I shared my Geritol?

Buddy,
From the perspective of a true Coon-Ass If You be from North of Homa, you be a Yankee and if you be North of I-10, you is a Damn Yankee!

Congratulations Per and Margrit, good looking coach…posted the link for you…

As far as driving schools, I am not sure what level you are looking for,but most CDL training places also offer bus training. Which in most states is a Class B license.

Try http://www.dream-generator.com. That worked for me.

First, I have to start off by truly thanking everyone that
attended and supported our inaugural event. It was a pleasure to meet or even
hopefully exceed all of your expectations. I assure you that we are in this for the
long haul and with your support we will produce some of the country’s best coach
rallies, bar-none.Now for my idea of the week. Actually this is a thought that
I have also had for a few years and it would have materialized at some point
anyway. Just with the recent developments I guess now is as good of time as any
to get off my a$s. I too have been the recipient of “your coach is to old”
nonsense. So I would like to not only personally invite “Vintage Coaches”, but
I would like to encourage them to join us!!! Remember my background is the
classic car industry, so what better opportunity could I have to combine my two
passions. This is still a thought in progress and I promise by next
week I will have some more concrete details in place that I will share with
you. In fact, if any of you have any suggestions on what kind of special
recognition or incentives (non-monetary) the AnCC might be able to provide, I am all ears. I do
have a few preliminary thoughts in my head; however I still need to work
through the details.PS my 1993 Liberty still looks and drives better than most
anything on the road today. Until I buy a newer H that is.Bill III

Thanks for all the replies. Blue Ox does make a tow bar good for 20,000 lbs.

You may want to check with Tom Johnson Motor Homes. If I remember correctly they tow one to rallies for a support vehicle.

what happens= do the owners have to buy new every 9 years? Due to a reduced production 2008 to current that would leave a huge market for new coaches soon. Doesn’t effect me in anyway.

JD, You are correct , you need to setup an account with Prevost before searching / ordering parts online…you should also confirm the parts you are ordering with Prevost reps, ensure they are correct for your coach unless you are absolutely sure you know what you want. Account needs to be setup in Canada, it may take couple days…contact Charlie, he is the net guru…

You do not go into Little Rock proper on I-40 so that is a non-event. You will have more traffic going thru OKC than you will Memphis. Once across the Mississippi follow the signs closely for I-40 because it has a non-intuitive path to get you north and around the city. But like Little Rock you avoid almost all the local traffic because of its path. Nashville is a bigger pain if you hit it at the wrong time. I take I-40 through Nashville and with all the different routes you have to pay close attention because sometimes you stay right, others left.
