I will post some photos later, and when the event concludes will try to summarize all that is happening. But I can say we have been to a lot of rallies and events over the years and I cannot think of a single one that tops this event.

We have been treated like royalty. Great meals, great access to all that is happeing, There is more eye candy here relating to cars, coaches and planes than you can believe. Every evening after dinner we have had great entertainment.

If you have an opportunity get out your 2016 calendar and block out the dates for the February event and sign up now. You will meet the greatest guys in the form of Tim Wells or Bill Miller and they have done an outstanding job of pulling this together and they have said February will be even better.

Sign up, you will not regret it.

Can we get 100 coaches here in February.?….I know Tom and I are comming back.

Tomorrow and Saturday we’ll see 400+ custom, antique, muscle cars, trucks, etc go through the auction.

I’ve been to a lot of motor sports and classic car events, but have never been a part of anything that would top this event and we’re at front row center. We have been treated like royalty. Wined, dined and entertained. I’ll definately be at the February event. If you can possibly attend, do. If you don’t, you’ll miss one of the RV lifestyle’s best offerings.

It is currently 12:44am and I have been up since 5:30 the
last few days. I apologize if this is short or seems poorly thought out.
However, I did feel obligated to respond. I am 46 years old and have been in
our family owned event planning business since 1974. Yes I was 5 years old and
I used to lick the stamps at our kitchen table that went onto our vendor
registrations. I have produced collector car auctions that have exceeded 300
cars and events that have had over 3,000 show cars.

I have previously stated my motivation and desire to attempt
this challenge. It is said that sometimes the stars just lineup. My
appreciation for these coaches, our company’s move to one of the finest event facilities
in the country, the chance meeting a couple of years ago of Ken Robertson, my
introduction to Jon and Tom and Tim Wells participation have all come together
perfectly to create the last few days. Even Mother Nature has played an invaluable
part.

I honestly want to say that the posts above I consider one
of my finest business accomplishments. The best part is I still have three days
to spend with some of the best people that I have ever had the opportunity to
meet.

Thank you from the bottom of heart to all that have been
involved. See you tomorrow (shit I mean today) and we have the opportunity to
do it all over again.

That blue Volkswagen bus has caught my attention. Must be a custom job as it has three doors on the driver’s side. When I was 20 in 1978, I bought a ’73 VW bus (baby Prevost…LOL), had so much fun with it….it was a rare one with an automatic transmission.

Looks to be about a ’64 or so, hard to tell…. no side lights and no head rests will put it before ’68.

Jimmie, the wine coolers/refrigerators were EdgeStar (thats what the logos are).

Mark, The VW wagon with all the doors was a taxi according to the info sheet on the windshield. Calleld it a 13 window VW I think.
