The raise height of the tag, at least on my 91 H3 is based on the chain length. If the chain is too long the tire wheel not raise completely or not at all. Of course you do not want it too short or the tag will be limited in it’s normal movement.

Jim: Yes it is closer to go to Quebec, but Bill Jensen from Prevost said that Jacksonville was the place to go, and had the most experience with this problem, so we made our appointment there. Plus, I am not looking to go someplace colder than it has been here!
Glad your repairs were done well on your old coach. From what I have seen and heard, the folks at Jacksonville are doing good work too.

Taking the assumption that you will be leaving your bus for an extended time, say a week. If your parked in an area that can support the running of your generator, then setup the auto-start. You first must be confident that the auto-start function works properly and you have setup the start/stop functions to your liking.
You have to correctly set the time in order to use the “quiet time”, then adjust the start paramiter, I use 50% state of charge and then setup the run time to stop the gen at “float.” There are many different paramiters you can use, but that works best for me. I know it works, since I have verified it’s operation at home. Mine will set with normal A/C loads and the fridge for 20 hours before reaching 12.2v.
Using the auto-start then keeps you from having to empty out the fridge by not shutting town the entire system.
PS – Make sure you have enough fuel onboard.

I hear that push on fittings aren’t reliable. There are two types of push-on fittings, one that is DOT approved. Given the wide use of DOT type push-on connectors I’m wondering if the reliability issues are only with the non-DOT fittings?
I just replaced my aux air compressor motor and discovered something new. I adjusted the compressor’s output regulator to 100 psi. This worked great until I started the engine. With the engine compressor supplying air the aux compressor’s regulator was constantly discharging excess pressure. I assumed these regulators only regulated the output. This is another reason for a check valve on the output of the aux compressor tank after the regulator. I didn’t have time to pick one up before we continued our trip, so yet another item for the list when we return.

Wouldn’t hurt to share–might be someone rite next door to help. I live in SW Indiana. You should be able to go back to standard coach leveling system while driving bus=leveling valves controled by height control valves(air valves with rods connected to suspension) that detects need to raise or lower coach height. Will be one front and two rear. Around $50 each. At this point we have no idea what previous owner or liberty did to suspension. Pictures tell much more than words. You should not have to manualy add air going down road.! Bob
