Yep, it was me Peter. Heading from the Custer Buffalo Roundup to Evergreen to visit some friends, then on to the BalloonFest in Albuquerque later this week. I saw a bus headed north Monday, but didn’t see your horse trailer. Karen & I talked about that area being near your ranch as we passed, but we don’t know your travel schedule, and we just assumed you were still on the road… Sorry we missed each other…still have a nearly full component of TN Moonshine (legal) to share with friends along the way!! Karen & I really love your neck of the woods…but it gets mighty cold up there in the winter. Travel safe my friend…

Jon is the only one on this site that still uses his left foot for the headlight dimmer switch.
Remember the little round metat switches that use to be mounted there.
He also installed one on his coach so he would remember where to find the dimmer.

The last time I saw Jdub he was traveling across Tucson towing this large trailer with his holding tank. It had a hughe sign that said ;

I have Harry and the new switchs work much better than the old. I would talk to Headhunter and make sure the switch is the problem and not the timer. I replaced both, any easy job.

I don’t know if the water leak you are referring to is a drain leak or a supply water leak. On our 2000 Liberty a very wet ( flooded } floor situation developed adjacent to the shower. It turned out to be a failed drain connection from the metal shower outlet sreen device and the elbow below it was formerly connected to. We made permanant repairs using a SS tube extension and epoxy to re-connect the drain to the seperated elbow below. Liberty indicated that this event was a mystery to them. So we made the repair ourselves through the floor drain opening. No further problems have occured since.

The 6.5 years for an ROI did not include the cost for the land. When you add that to the equation the ROI moves out to approximately 10 years. Bad investment. The storage facility that we use to use charged a significant deposit and you made sure that you left your storage good unit in good shape.
The renters were responsible for any damage to your unit or grounds. My next door neighbor kept backing his motorhome into the frame of the overhead door. He got to buy a new overhead door for his unit. I ran into the gate as we were leaving and had to replace the gate. The cost for repairing the gate was a drop in the bucket when compared to the cost for fixing our motorhome.

Spent last night and part of today(they had us done by 1:30) at Zip-Dee. Everything good including the $ plus they must have changed the glide paths for O’hare. Saw 1000 planes only heard one and that was a low flying prop job.

I drove a used Newell before buying my first Prevost. It drove good, looked like an operating room inside, I opened a bay door and saw wood structure inside.. End of decision. I’m on my second Prevost and if I could live long enough I would buy a third Prevost. Congratulations on your new found wisdom and enjoy many years of happy traveling.

My main reason for using roof a/c’s other than saving bay space is ease of repair.If one goes out all we have to do is unbolt it from the roof,unhook everything and off it comes and install the other in reverse plus with 7 a/c’s on the roof I have a little back-up if one goes down as every zone in the coach is being designed with 2 a/c’s to cool it except the driver/entry area and that particular area doesnt usually get an a/c on most conversions any way. Keep the thoughts coming!!!!

That is indeed the coach they were talking about. We just completed the sale of that coach yesterday to a previous customer of ours. I delivered the coach yesterday afternoon to a shop that will be installing 3 new HD TV’s in it. The gentleman that purchased it was originally looking at a $800K Prevost that we have. He was a little concerned about going back to a 45′ coach. I took him for a drive in the 96, and he was amaze at the drive, and how quiet the coach was. So he saved himself over $600K, and is excited to get out on the road in the 40 footer.
