BUT, that was in Canada with freezing temperatures. The window came down but would not close.
I was able to sort of pull it up and it closed on the final inch or so.
All was well when I was back in a more moderate climate. Plus instead of Minus.

May be a motor going bad Gary, Jeff might have some idea’s.
-
Jeff, can you put a wind up window in it, that way I do not have to worry about the motor, with the embargo lifted in cuba or soon will be I bet you could find some real cheap down there, maybe off a 50 ford, Jon might sell me one off his tow car? he probably has switched to all elec, well good idea any way, gary

You’re giviing away your age Gary.
A kid of today doesn’t know how to open the windows on a car with a crank. And almost none of them know what to do with their left foot.
-
The left foot is used to tap along with the 8 tracks of the Lennon Sisters. Especially in Janet’s solos.

This is for Jeff, I will be at your facility along with the other 20 coaches for the Get to Know your Prevost seminar, can I come early and get you to check that motor out and also I have a fan bearing in the front heater going bad, Let me know when. I am leaving Florida on the 8th April but have to go home till the July meeting at your place, can I come a couple days early to get you to check these out, Gary

Jon is the only one on this site that still uses his left foot for the headlight dimmer switch.
Remember the little round metat switches that use to be mounted there.
He also installed one on his coach so he would remember where to find the dimmer.
-
Headlights? I thought old people shouldn’t drive in the dark. They should be swinging and swaying to the Lawrence Welk band when the sun goes down.
The Ford has a new dimmer switch.

While we are talking about yesterday do you remember the hand crank in the front under the radiator, would break your arm if not careful, My 33 Chevrolet truck had that, bought the truck when I was 15 years old, 600 three payments of 150 Took all my paper route money, Had a couple friends that had old cars we would race them at night, Deputy sheriff tried as he might, could not catch us we new all the trails through the woods and fields. One night we were running from deputy dog and were in a field the guy in the 37 hit a stump and tore the knee suspension out from under his car we had to leave it. next day took a tractor and brought her home for repair. Jon I am telling my age sure enough now, Gary

Gary,
My first car was a 37 Ford. I know exactly what you are talking about when you talk about the suspension. I also know that old people cannot cipher. 3 times $15 does not equal $60.
My paper route money was also used for important purchases………a BB gun, then a 22 rifle and finally my 37 Ford.

I have the same problem with my Toll window. I bought a new regulator kit from Prevost the last time I was there. I have not come up with enough courage to tear into all the trim and remove switches and the trans key pad to install it.
In the meantime, I have learned, that mine will work if when I let it down, I do not stop it’s travel till it’s where I want it. Then, if I wait a few minutes, it will go back up….slowly.

I have no idea if this will work but if the window runs up and down in a track spry the track and the liner of the track with some silicone spray you can get at any hardware type store. NAPA, Home Depot etc.
I have done car window tracks before and it helps.
