This is just 20 miles from Notre Dame. You may drycamp in the parking lot.
Take the Bourbon tour through Ky and TN on the way back, stopping at Mamouth Cave and the Corvette Museum and plant tour in KY. If you go East enough in KY stay at KY Horse Park and take in some farm tours.

I would agree, but the coach had already been through 52K worth of repairs and updates before I purchased it. Plus a 125,000 dollar paint job had been put on it!

Could be that the clamp has worked itself loose on the stem of the valve such that it doesn’t open although the motor is turning.
In a pinch, you can undo the clamp and still open the valve manually, at least this worked on our Liberty.
Good luck…

Well, we are both here at Jeff’s. If there is anyone getting fed, I missed it! haha
I am enjoying seeing all the nice buses and visiting while my bus gets worked on. That country Coach sure is looking good! This is my view of it right now through my raindrop covered windshield.

Carl…
How much did the new set cost you?
Also did your cooktop come in in time for your trip?
Safe travels and you all have a fantastic time !!
Cheers,

The kick space heaters are like the air conditioning filters in that they should be part of a maintenance program. One thing I have learned about kick space heaters is they generally are equipped with two thermostats. The primary thermostat is to control heater and fan operation. The second is typically located above the heating element and it is a “safety” in that if the fan fails it will open the circuit to the heater. If that secondary thermostat fails closed the risk of a fire increases. I have learned to operate the heater until it reaches full operating temperature and cycles off. Then I listen carefully for the “click” of the second thermostat which opens the circuit. When the fan stops blowing the residual heat from the heating element is sufficient to open the circuit on the second thermostat. Hearing that click tells me the thermostat is functioning. Not the best way to check for an open circuit but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

And let’s not forget those tall bays.

Ah George, Corey, are you going to keep a low profile about your upgrade or tell us all about it?
C’mon, we love to hear about moving on up…..

thanks Ben, I’m back in Fla and coach is in NC so the ambient temp is probably pretty close to 70. I will be back up there in a week or so and will do as you advise. Thanks for the advice,
