Granvil, Fairgrounds…no resort, but adequate and convienient to downtown. Prevost Nashville actually in Goodletsville…..Plug in with remote dump and water. A bit further from downtown, but the price is right.

KOA Nashville not bad as located close to Grande Ole Opry as was in there last summer… clean, neat and pull through sites with concrete pads…. Easy run to downtown and other sites in Nashville, Nice City owned Dog Park about 3 miles away….

I’m with Corey, either Prevost (free, but way outside the city) or the Fairgrounds (free about 50% of the time – when they actually come around and collect).

KOA Nashville. We are actually here now for a few weeks.. Prevost Nashville is good and secure. Fairgrounds are iffy. I would not want to leave my coach there while we go into town and come back after dark. little to no security at the fairgrounds.

Prevost has been iffy for me the last three time I have tried to stay there overnight. Seems that the entertainers have been hanging out more there and using the plug in spots. I was able to get a spot by wainting a few hours one night, used the plug in in the wash rack one night, and the last I had to use the generator as nothing was available.

They had a couple of non-Prevost motorhomes plugging up a couple of the spots too. One had been there for over a week after the work was completed. The guys in the shop office were not impressed with that.

There are two advantages to the Prevost service center in Nashville. The first is security. As soon as the shop closes the gates are closed and only people that need to be in the yard get access. Campgrounds are usually secure, but there is 24/7 access to them.

The second reason is nobody bugs you, stares at the coach, or bothers you at Camp Prevost. Most of the time campgrounds are OK but there have been times when folks gravitate towards Prevost coach and they want to talk about them, ask questions, and we have even had some ask for a tour. At rallies and at Camp Prevost we like the fact we are among a bunch of the same type coaches and are generally not on display.

We stayed at Jellystone Park this past May. Wasn’t paved but very well kept, while we were there anyways. This park didn’t seem to feel as cramped as the others around. Great location for the Grand Ole Opry, Opryland Hotel, and Opry Mills shopping. I personally would avoid Jellystone. Prevost Prouds had a rally there in May and the roads as well as the site are all gravel. Every time anyone drove down the street (even a golf cart) dust flew everywhere. It is close to everything but the KOA just down the street seemed much nicer than Jellystone to me.

Another vote for the KOA….compared to Jellystone and Two Rivers….the roads are paved and the premium sites are long and dry. If it rains the Jellystone park can be under water quickly and if your traveling with pets you’ll appreciate the paved roads and dog park at the KOA.
