On the big trucks we will tap into the turn signals if the relay is not available and for the reverse signal we tap into the reverse lights/wire harness going to the rear lights.
There should be a modulator that handles the pulse of the signal and gives constant power to the side view cameras.
Cant be more specific about a Prevost but its the same concept.

Just out of curiosity, why a stud and a bolt? I know a stud will maintain integrity when tightened for a more accurate torque value over a bolt but Detroit gives a 5 ft/lb window for a torque spec. From the picture above it looks like bolts work for holding the bracket on to the gear case.

I think the other company has a pretty good reputation. Wish I had looked into it before I bought one 🙁 (possible sarcasm may exist in previous statement).
Next one will be a progressive industry one because of the reputation they do have 😉

Bob-00 here:-) Debi typing because we know how fat his fingers are
He said to tell you that you were close but the count is actually well over 20 coaches. He’s also glad to see that Loc is opening up those purse strings and possibly getting a new ride.
Miss you all,
Bob and Debi too

Thanks for doing the closure post.

Shot in the dark, possibly a start toward a failure of the card in the ECC? My 94 would lose a function now and then, intermittent, before going out completely. Always fun to track down stuff that works part time.(-:

I should have mentioned 8V92. Maybe someone can help.

Digging up an old thread.
Was stopped over night at a rest area and did some power management by turning off switches on the main panel. Had it down to fridge, tv and aft outlets.
Went from 9pm to 7am with no problems.
So other items (microwave, air compressor, water pump, etc) are pulling loads that drain the batteries quickly.
Fridge is a new GE, tvs are flat samsung. Microwave is also new GE.
on my next overnight stop will try to check other components (starting to think it’s the microwave as it had the largest constant draw of all items ).

That is weird. It would be interesting to know the failure modes of the two pumps. Are you at Jeff’s now?
