    Joelselman,

I believe that my coach is probably built like your current coach but I’ll have to check on the module so I at least know if there is another mode of failure.

Thanks John, Rudy, and Tom for your input. I have confirmed that my systems in fact are NOT connected. Special thanks to John for enlightening me that this would probably be the case. Jeff

Some…or maybe a couple have installed on- off supply valve to the ISRI air seat. Simply closing the air flow to ISRI seat when parked.

I’ve found the ISRI seat leaking by isolating the air system… finding the hand operated up-down valve the problem.

ISRI has been really cleaver building a complete air seat kit. Only part which has failed on 2 Marathons is on-off valve.

Here is a pretty good explanation. Start about 45 seconds in to skip the advertisement.

According to this clip, Chip is correct.

    Wow! That’s a real bargain.

So if you lose the drain plug on your engine, does this mean you can get a replacement for $30,000 but it includes the engine?

The “P” stamped on the brass fitting was manufactured by …Parker.

Looking at the picture appears to be a port plug.

That’s what happens when we allow the coach to push the transmission / jake / retarder.

As drivers we have to anticipate the situations that we deal with and work proactively to prevent an issue. When a downhill slope is pushing the coach we have to recognize that and use heavy brake application to get back to a level below target speed.

There is NOTHING that will ever make your engine over rev. It is protected buy computers, tranny & engine, to prevent damage. The computers control the throttle and downshifts for protection

Example: while going down the highway at 70 mph you could select 1st gear on the touch pad and it will not go to 1st. It will only downshift to whatever the lowest gear is to attain redline or less.

Like others, my previous coaches were programmed to aggressively downshift to 2nd gear. Works great, but to each his own. The higher the rpm, the more effective the jake brake is.

On an A-B equipped Liberty the bay door lock relay could be one of the small green ones at the rear of the electric bay. Easy to identify by having someone constantly click the bay lock switch and look for the red light that is going on and off over the faulty relay.

Also assuming the coach has additional relays for bay door locks on the LH bulkhead near the buss bars are one or two octagonal base relays that handle the switching loads for the bay door locks.

Step one is to make sure it is A-B related or Crestron related.

We stayed there a few years ago. Not bad for a short stay, but not very well defined parking and it was dusty, but that was in the summer. Easy to get to though…
