Can’t yet say that I’m a fan or not of the skirting or the rear flap. I wondered if the skirting helped or hurt air flow from house airs or generator. This afternoon I got a welcome surprise when the house air woke up & blows a cool 55. Back to the issue at hand though. I am curious the affect of trapping generator outlet air especially during summer months. I assume the rear flap helps keep bouncing rocks off the toad. That would be a plus but it is kinda ugly though. On my Eagle the OTR AC compressor & AC radiator fan combo was located in this same compartment. It didn’t work so it had to go. I enclosed that area for start batteries, tool box & supplies, oil, filters, etc. I never saw an affect on engine temp but the Eagle has a 6V92 not a 8V92. The 8V is more of an air hog if you will. By the way it’s been fun watching my wife try & figure out what to do with all the storage space.

Sorry, guys, I have been a little tied up with this and all our regular activities too. Thanks, Jeff, for keeping the post updated.
The bus is at Prevost Houston and we are about 80 miles south of there this week. I have been driving up to the bus every day. We were supposed to travel to eastern Alabama tonight, but that is obviously not happening. I am hoping it will be finished early next week. I will try to write it all up after that with pictures.

Well I still don’t know what the alarm was about but after changing oil and filters, fuel filters, dryer canister and servicing the transmission I have no alarm. Still haven’t been able to pull codes, but soon. If I find out what it was I’ll let y’all know.

The number of Prevost coaches that now meet the 10 year rule is miniscule compared to the total on the road.
When the economy went in the dumper in 2008 the converters stopped production. Not slowed down, they stopped. Since production started inching back up it is a small percentage of units per year compared to production levels prior to 2008.
The irony and balls of that RV Park company is they have demonstrated in the past if you don’t have a newer than 10 year coach they will not even discuss a lot purchase with you, but once a lot owner if your coach is so old it has gray hair they do not seem to enforce their own rules.
They will be handing out snowmobile suits in Hell before I even visit those RV parks.

Relays are above the throttle pedal. Flashers are on the ceiling of the engine compartment, near the coolant tank, behind a little stainless panel.
Your results may vary?

They are all good, except when they are not.
I wish I did not have to deal with Verizon, ATT, Comcast, HP, Microsoft, or any large company whose calls “may be recorded for privacy purposes” or has control over me or my equipment.

John,
The 5v transformer is the long, grey rectangular solid block towards the bottom right side of your photo.
Now, I may be wrong about the following, but I think the 5v transformer on the back of the ECC Motherboard provides the backlight power for the Sunmulon switch panels located –
• Entry Door Switch Panel beside the Passenger Seat
• Kitchen Switch Panel
• Bathroom Switch Panels (I have two panels)
• Bedroom Switch PanelMICHAEL

Thanks Mike,
What I need to know now is what those 5 volt power supplies look like. In the attached photo if you can identify them it would really help.
Thanks.

Rudy,
You’re all signed up and paid, our web dude found a glitch in the code and he fixed it.

Dick,
If you find that you have a Somfey 12 volt motor, I have a spare I can bring up to you as I am only 16 miles South of your present position.

MemberJanuary 16, 2019 at 8:07 am in reply to: I may have entered into “Flip-Phone-Friday”?Well it seems I have egg on my face yet again… I found that the switch that turns my house batteries on and off must be ON for the bus to have full 50 amp service. I was told from the day I picked up the bus, when you turn off the engine turn off both coach and house batteries. And I have done that religiously! I was certain I had the house battery switch to off when I had 50 amp service before but that obviously was not the case.
Im sorry for all the good information you’ve provided me that I was unable to use. But because of your info I’ll know more of what to look for next time. Send me your address via email and I’ll send you an 8×10 glossy of me for your dartboard!

We went last year on the way to Petoski with Bill and Jean Puleo. Spent two nights in their camping area, dry camping only, and it was great. Last years schedule had a cruise in on Wednesday nights that we were fortunate to be there for. Probably our third time there but always a little different.
