Brett, we feel your pain. We’ve had far too may coaches of various sizes over the past 20 years. One year ago we upgraded from our 2012, 4 slide, rock-solid, stellar-reputationed, “we’re perfectly happy with it” Foretravel.
We knew we’re gonna’ be dead for a long time so we took the Prevost leap.
We studied this forum’s advice for two years before buying and have most service records back to 2005. Jeff at ETLC has been a big help and we’ve zeroed out ‘Big Red’.
We should have started with a Prevost years ago. There is no comparison.

Cody,
Did you get the dash lights working and if so what was the problem? Inquiring minds want to know.

Ernie,
David down here in Houston area is really very good at Satelite TV and associated stuff.
If you come here, I have 50 plug for you at Exit 800 on I-10. Plus I know where the locals go to eat.
All the best in your search.

I’ve already signed up and I will bring my 50 Ford and I think I am going to caravan with a friend that has a nicely restored Scenicruiser with all the Greyhound grahics. He said I might not be able to keep up with him and he might be right.

MemberFebruary 22, 2017 at 4:22 pm in reply to: Oil prestart primer & oil bypass filter systemsI like Mr. Bennett’s idea. Achieves what I would like the system to do. It certainly can’t hurt the engine to be primed with oil when it lights up.

I had a similar problem with air toilet. Jeff suggested a dedicated air pump just for the toilet.

Read the owner’s manual more thoroughly about the “error codes”. Learned much and believe it was low Shore power voltage coming in the coach as Tom indicated.
Of course, the problem was that at 2:30 am, I didn’t feel like reading the manual which would have told me to go to the “error menu” to determine the exact cause. Just not sure why I can’t have this type of incident happen in daylight when it’s not storming outside :).

Never had a problem with them the XL s like yours will take the six inch ones combo model and be great, on the XLll in between the fog lights there is a grill and a lot of the entertainers put the long light bars in there and a lot of the tour bus we work on at are shop have them also in same spot, just have to turn them off if there is traffic around lots . Steve I have had them on all my coaches , I love them .

I noticed my odometer blinking in and out the other day. But if the DD control keeps track, other than not seeing how many miles at a glance what does it hurt? I bet Prevost don’t give away those speedos either…

Thanks for the photos. They should be sent to every RV resort with a 10 year age restriction.
