Air Control Valve leaking
I have noticed that my 12 volt air compressor has been running constantly. When I checked, I found that the air control valve was dumping air. I believe this air control valve is utilized to have air brought over from the bus system to my auxilary air system when going down the road.
I had tried to do some research on replacing these valves, but they are no longer made. I had a long discussion with a mechanic in Denver who was saying that on my year of XL, this design was poorly done and shortly this was totally re-designed.
However, my situation is such that I cannot get enough air into my auxilary system when parked as this air control valve is dumping it all. In short, my air toilet does not work and my wife is not very happy.
Does someone have any suggestions on how to get this to stop dumping air so my 12 volt compressor can finally catch up?

I had a similar problem with air toilet. Jeff suggested a dedicated air pump just for the toilet.

If any valve is leaking, just replace it.
I cannot tell what the function of the valve shown is, but I can tell you the suspension uses quite a few of those Norgren valves, and a three port valve such as shown is in the steer compartment and functions as the valve through which air from the suspension is exhausted when you lower any of the three suspension positions. If that valve (the one I am describing) leaks continuously it could be a problem associated with other Norgren valves in the suspension system that are used to lock air into the suspension. Does your coach lean or settle within a short time? That would be a clue.
Regardless of the valve function if you replace it that should be the easiest solution to a leak through the valve, but it may not be the final answer.
