You say straps pulled loose. I am confused the straps are what you attach a hook to to pull the awning down. You say it is pulled from tube, That to me means the complete awning detached from tube.

Would it be this one? Would like to replace the Gagenau for a unit without large knobs…

Nice looks amazing. What is the coast in reupholstering compared to replacement. I was thinking of getting my wife a chair that is a bit wider since she usually sits upfront with our girls.

If you have 24 volts where you have it, batteries should be fully charged. You could also check each battery individually without unhooking them to confirm they are fully charged.
Again, you should have a chassis/engine voltmeter on the dash. With the key on, you should see 27 or 28 volts. Turn the key to engage the starter and the voltage should drop, but not to zero. If zero or close to it, something is wrong.
Two things could be wrong with new/newer batteries: (1) defective new battery (bad cell) which happened to my with 5 month old Interstates and that spoils the four battery pack (find and replace bad battery and you should be OK) or (2) lights left on or phantom draw pulled them down and they need to be charged.
If you still have the original 24 volt charger Liberty installed, pull it out and replace it with a Guest/Mariner smart charger with three charging stages.
The other advice you’re getting is solid in my opinion. Could be any of these things.

When I have all the slides out and it rains, before leaving, I will either raise/lower the front or rear to let any water run off.
I had a little stick get caught once in the slide seal and it let water in. If I’m under any kind of tree, I will check the top of the slides before I retract.
I have a two step ladder and a long telescoping handle with a mirror on the end so I can check before I get the ‘big’ ladder out.
Safe travels!

Bill:
This is a problem I have been chasing for awhile. Once I discovered (or I should say JoSam’s in Orlando discovered) the passengers tag was out of round & JoSam’s shaved it down my vibration almost completely disappeared.
Now with my 4 new 365s the vibration is worse than it ever was.
Jon:
I was under the impression that putting anything inside the tire voided any warranty on the Michelin tires.

One thing this thread has proven to me is we are on our own in this pandemic.
The state and federal officials can regulate and restrict all they want, but no matter what they do people will continue to do what they want. I know masks I wear are to a degree for my protection, but are largely to protect others. As a result I view anyone outside my home as the enemy unless I know for certain they are as cautious as I am.
We were at a store several weeks ago and the store has a mask requirement. We still distanced ourselves from others and when we went to check out to macho men without masks stood at the end of the checkout and chatted without a care in the world. We stayed about 12 feet back from the empty checkout and about 20 feet from the macho men. The cashier kept signaling for us to move ahead and check out and I stood still. Eventually she asked why I wasn’t checking out and in a voice loud enough for the unmasked macho men to hear I pointed out the sign on the door required masks in the store, and yet the two macho men weren’t wearing them and I wasn’t moving until they were gone. I pissed them off, the cashier got pissed, and then the manager who was summoned to deal with the two men.
My only defense is not regulations, not expecting others to comply, but for me to do what I have to to stay away from others. I am not happy with how some regulations are shaped, and if we want a change of scenery in the bus we have to check to see if there are rules that will impact us, like the CA RV park restrictions against overnight stays. We have to abide by regulations, but we also can exercise whatever care we choose to remain safe. Too many morons to assume others are not carrying the virus.
And yet as a society people are still having sports, and other activities where the Covid 19 can be easily spread.

Lady L,
I will tell you what I did back in 2012 when we purchased our 2007 Marathon. I found our “perfect” coach at a broker in PHX. After speaking with several members here I made an offer based on a PDI at both Prevost and Marathon. Seller didn’t agree with that but did agree to have the inspection done by a local company Taylor Tours in the area. There head Service guy was a former Marathon Tech. They spent well over two days and checked everything inside the bus and out. It was taken to a Detroit and allison shop for comprehensive engine and transmission test. They got lab results on fluids as well as a dyno of the engine. All shops communicated and sent reports directly to me. Everything that was found was corrected at the expense of the seller. Then after all the work was done, I had two days of training with the Head Service guy (former Marathon) worker and spent a couple of days/nights in the bus before we took delivery. We felt comfortable that we were getting what we paid for and 8 years later and over 100,000 miles we have been very pleased with our purchase. In my opinion, if you don’t know what your looking for, it pays to hire someone who does. Good luck with the search!
Final peace of advice… when you find a Bus your interested in…. reach out here for someone with your converter. In my case that was Boater Al and he and Jon and Tom were super helpful in making a sound decision on our purchase and have been there to help along the way!

I second the use of porcelain hardwood floor over actual hardwood. I have it in our new coach. Unbelievably easy to maintain and does not show dust etc. In our last coach we tore out the tile floors and had hardwood installed. Hated it! Showed the smallest amount of dust and drove me crazy trying to keep clean. Had ice maker malfunction leaving small amount of water on floor which ruined section of hardwood. Ripped it out and replaced with same porcelain hardwood I have in new coach.
Would never consider real hardwood again in coach or home.
