Whoa! That can’t be fixed with duct tape. Battery shorted out?? Over charging??

Just to let you know, we have buttons on both sides of the bedroom door. On the kitchen side, it’s behind a small cabinet door along with the air conditioning thermostats. On the bedroom side, it’s right there next to the door along with several light switches. If you don’t ‘hold the button’ when closing the door, a female voice comes on …’please hold the button to activate the door’.
In the rear bath, I can close the bedroom door or the bathroom door.
But opening the swing half-bath door or either of our two closet doors blocks views to the bedroom from the front.
If the fresh tank starts to get low, a voice comes on (trying to remember the exact wording)…’potable tank approaching empty’, and for the grey/black tank, ‘holding tank approaching full’…. and she won’t stop until you fill/empty or turn off the ‘alarm’.

Removed the old noisy falliing apart Gast compressor and installed a new quieter California Tools MP100. Also built a new box for it to live in.

With twin tanks one can choose when to drop the gray water. This is important at many venues where dry camping occurs. Dropping gray through a bypass when taking a shower in the middle of the day would result in much more attention than I would want. With the separate tank you can get rid of the gray when you want
Further when traveling across the country gray always fills before the black. Being able to pull off at a deserted exit and get rid of the gray quickly is a major plus to me.

The toilet was just redone. I rebuilt the microphor last week. The toilet water shutoff is working. There is no water dripping in the bowl. I know this as we are still waiting on the flapper gasket to seal completely. No running residual water.
I only see the surge/cycle when I turn on the faucet or run the showers. I can here the pumps cycle on & off. When I checked the pressure gauge at my outside faucet, I can see the pressure go from 40 psi to 30 psi per cycle. This is why I thought the accumulator my have an issue. I could replace the shurflows and go from there. The pumps are easy access and the accumulator is not. Do you think that would be a possible problem fixer?
I plan on going back on city water as soon as my fresh water is depleted. My reason for draining the tank was due to finding water coming out of my freshwater overflow tube under the bus. Each time we’d shower, the overflow would push out water. In an attempt to isolate the problem, I shut off the city water and wanted to check if the overflow continued. We showered and It, the overflow does not push water. This leads me to believe/suspect my fresh water fill valve is not cycling full closed. When on city water, the tank may be filling even if I don’t have it set to do so. When I shower I must be causing enough to of a siphon to draw city water into the fresh water tank. It in turn gets full and pushes the overflow.
FYI – this is a culmination of 2 things. The overflow and I keep the fresh water full just in case we need to bug out the DC area. Bad guys seem to have a fixation on doing bad things to this town. Usually once a month, I shut off city and use the fresh water. I thus drain the old and replenish with new. The surge/cycling issue just recently started.

If for some reason the weekend after Labor Day does not work we will be in that area the week before Labor Day weekend. Will certainly be there if that should pan out.

If a tire is down that puts the axle close to the ground. the key to raising it is to ask that the tire changer bring some short sections of boards you can drive the flat up onto to increase the space between the ground and jack point.
It helps if you raise the coach on air bags in the corner needed to help the tire guy have a little better visibility. With the coach down, or even at ride height it is hard to see under there.

Mine had mini plugs on the end for power. The wires may be inside the framing, but mine were all long enough to allow unhooking and had plenty of slack.

That switch was factory Larry. I looked at Cole’s bus and I didn’t see a swich either, only a breaker. Maybe it’s because originally, mine had two aux compressors, one small 12v and the other the large 120v. Never quite understood the purpose of the small 12v, Marathon couldn’t give me much of an explaination either, but possibly that’s why the button was installed and did conrol both. I removed the 12v compressor.

I remember attending a Marathon rally years ago at Disney World –Orlando. They have cable in the park as trees pretty much block use of your roof top dishes.
One channel that is deleted from list of offered channels was FNC —Fox News.

go one screw size larger. Thread cutter for next size should go rite thru stripped out hole. Or locktite makesa thread builder that you apply a release agent to present screw and a jb weld like putty over that and thread lightly into hole. After a few hrs you can tighten screw up. FWIW bob

If you want to read a real horror story about CC go to the Private Forum, go to convertors, second page, still pisses me off to think about it, along about 2005 or so CC the plastic part, just forgot what quality control was! and could not care less what the customer needed, gary
