  • PC Napa Card – Savings

Posted by Archived on November 19, 2015 at 7:15 pm

For those that don’t have the PC Napa card, you’re missing some real savings.

I needed filters today today and the street price was 119.96. Using the Napa card, the cost was 58.74, a savings of about 50%.

    Thanks BA, great program.

    Thanks Truk,

I know we have reports of some NAPA stores not going along with the program. For what ever reason and this is a national program. We try hard but it’s very frustrating.

All NAPA company stores will honor your NAPA card and by the way, lots of you will be seeing new NAPA-AITA cards in the mail in the next few weeks.

My local store is not company owned and it’s taken some effort to get them to use the account number on the back of the card, but well worth the time.

Tried to talk my napa store into it as I use them a lot on my equipment out here at the place and no joy. Might have to drive 65 miles to the other ones (Austin Tx.) and try there. Got my new card in for what it’s worth.

both my napa stores would not take the card until I used Tom’s trick and gave them the acc number and presto no problems! Saved a bunch on new engine batteries. I’m saving money with the Beacon wash card too! Gotta love PC!

    a card today.

Never had one before and never asked for it, either. Looks like they mass mailed the new cards to everyone since mine was addressed on the envelope to PC follow by my name.

Anyway, now I have a NAPA card.

Enter “Prevost Community” in this box below found on application.

    • Please enter the Company name as you would like to see it on the card.

    • New members applying for a NAPA card please enter “Prevost Community” in this box. Doing this allows use to tract how many cards we have along with location of use.
    • Ronald, the only way you can receive a NAPA-AITA card is to apply by entering your personal information.

What Tom said. We never ever share information about our members with anyone, especially a business.

If you do get an email about anything ranging from a rally to a company or product it originates with us and we feel it is important enough to communicate to our entire membership. I don’t think we have sent out a mass email more than 5 or 10 times in our existance.

I have used my card this past Wednesday at NAPA in Southgate, MI, no issues as long as you have the card. They used the 31999 account on the back of the card. During purchasing transaction , it was mentioned to me that NAPA discontinued the program and will honor previous issued cards only….Interesting….if card is not avail, they will not honor just the program code.

    Yes interesting,

We had this dis-continued rumor about a month ago. My contact here in KC called Atlanta and was assured the program was alive and well.

NAPA-AITA web site just went through a overhaul adding more features to help customers find NAPA stores honoring the program.

Our new cards were waiting for us to get home, yesterday. Example of savings.: 15KW Powertech genny air filter number 2222, full retail cost in the 70 dollar range , regular Napa discounted price in the $50 range, preferred customer discount, $35, AITA/Napa card discount $15.15. We have saved thousands over the several years using the card since we own 26 cars,

PC has increased it NAPA-AITA cards this year over last, thank you.

While I had the AITA folks on the phone I asked if membership had increased overall in 2015. Yes, it had and as of this date there were over 25,000 cards issued.

A significant number of members which reinforces the NAPA-AITA program is alive and doing very well.

NAPA independent stores that have decided for what ever reason not to honor the card is a choice they make. We have reports of NAPA store employees not being made aware of the program. I guess that’s the 10% who never get the message rule.

LAST THING…..If you have a card expiring on 12-31-2015 and have not received a new card please re-apply at this time. There is no cost to be a member of this national discount program.

Please insert “Prevost Community” in the company name box on the application.

Click… discount box on PC forum page.

I have found if the counter man is unfamiliar with the card or program, I ask him to turn it over and follow the instructions. Some refusals might be because the counter man just did not know the procedure.

There is no substitute for the savings the card provides. It is substantial and if you feel guilty buying expensive parts so cheap, Tom and I would be very happy to take the savings from you. We don’t want any PC members feeling guilty that their $50 belt or filter only costs $19 on the program.
