So tell me folks, how can a RV business be selling this thing as a Prevost and think they can get away with that..

If you go to their website, you would quickly discover that something’s not right that this RV company is selling this RV at $300K when most of their RVs are trailers below $20K. Looks like a CC product, but I’m sure Prevost could look into legal action.

Here’s a CC Lexa with the 515 Cat Engine advertised on RVTrader for $90K less … since they forgot to glue on the Prevost logo!

Holy Cow, Its the Lexa we test drove at the 2002 Fall CC Eldorado Kansas Pre rally be fore going to the FMCA Mudfest in Hutichson KS fairgrounds where 5000 motorhome sank in the mud from 5 inches of rain in 2 1/2 days and we were parked on grass with a 50K plus lbs two slide bus which got damaged by the state of Kansas trying to drag a HR Navigator in the mud.

The Lexa was a hastily put together plastic coach that was adorned with Lincoln Navigator license plate frame and tail lights. Some say the Lexa was one of the straws that broke the Country Coach back All but two were bought back by Country Coach. Then they ended up on the market. They are albatrosses just like the Country Coach Rhapsody.

I saw a kid here with a Chrysler 300 with a Bently badge on the grill/hood. Made me look!

I asked the seller the following quesitons:

“Dear parkwayrvcenter,

Are you sure this is really a Prevost chassis? Built by Prevost Car of Canada? What model Prevost chassis? H-345 or XLII or XLV?”

Here is his response:

“this is a prevost chasis and was sold yesterday to prevost dealer in texas

-parkwayrvcenter”

Doesn’t answer all the questions I asked. Now a “prevost dealer in texas” has it.

I doubt it’s been sold to a Prevost dealer, will probably resurface elsewhere and they probably cancelled the listing.

Well, I guess I’m a glutton for punishment….. I watched the WHOLE video.

How can anybody who has been in the RV business for as long as they claim and say that’s a PREVOST? He even says it’s his Dad’s RV! Do they not know what a PREVOST chassis is?

Watched the video and listened to owners son clearly state more then once “built on a Prevost Chassis”.

This is the top of list … bogus . The Prevost block letters are also placed on rear cap. There is no other choice then assume the current owner/dealer has done this to deceive a prospective buyer.

Pictured is a Country Coach 2003 Model Lexa. Rumor has it that CC rushed Lexa into production containing more electrical issues then all Country Coaches built prior.

BTW, our new Prevost came with the individual chrome letters for the front and back (in a box). They fit in the indentions formed in the ‘kevlar’ which are not installed.

I’m hanging onto those babies so that they don’t get into the wrong hands. LOL!
