So, when I apply the service brakes, the brake lights come on AND the retarder is working to slow us down. I will use the retarder stalk when we are on a down-hill run to keep our speed in check. No real need for brake lights in that situation as they would stay on all the time.

The Vantare power cord went out bottom of coach too and I like that much better… you can have any size power head that way.
I know you are loving your coach….will get to see it at Bella Terra I hope and meet you and Craig..until then have a Happy Thanksgiving and be safe..
Cheers, Diane

Tom, reservation
complete – we are in (our first every PC event). I have one question though. We have joined the PC a little younger than
some, and still have four school age children.
What are your thoughts (and other people’s thoughts) on us attending this
event with our children, ages 2, 10, 13, 16. Will they cause any heartburn with other PC
members? This may be a silly question,
but we want to respect others, and don’t want our kids’ energy to be
disruptive. Thank you very much.Eric

This should get every Marathon owner thinking about how bad their system could be contaminated because of those steel tanks. Mine is in 02 and it was bad and here’s a fairly new one, 2007, with the same problem. If you have a steel aux tank installed by Marathon, you better get it checked out. Your aux air pump makes tons of water and if not drained on a regular basis from that steel tank, you likely have a problem.
This could also contaminate the Prevost aux air system if the yellow valve in the steering compartment is opened and allowing the two systems to blend. I do that occasionaly when I’m ready to start and the Prevost aux air is down resulting in loose engine belts. So keep your air dry and drained boy’s, or trouble is coming your way.

That was a very shocking post to read above about Centramatic. All dealings with Centramatic at the factory location have been above and beyond satisfaction.
I don’t know based on the above post where your purchase took place. Could you share this ?
Centramatic donated a steer axle set of balancers as a door prize to PC’s Branson rally…..just saving.

when I see you in Fl. in Jan. or if you are will to pay for shipping I can send them now. I plan
on keeping 2 so the other 4 are available. If anyone else would like them just say so.
I am all done for now til next year. I just replaced air bags, brake chambers and shocks. Rick
