First and foremost, any protective film should be removed within the first seven years of usage. Within seven years, it should come off without too much effort. It’s important to have the surface fully detailed prior to applying the film.
After speaking to experts, I’m to understand the best level of protection is to use a high quality film such as XPEL Ultimate and add ceramic coating over the film. All ceramic coatings are not created equally as the brands sold in Walmart are not the same composition as those used by experts. And, it’s much more protective than automotive grade wax. Applying ceramic coating is not an easy job and is best left to the detailing pros who do this for a living. Film and ceramic coating will give the bus a hard finish that will ease the chore of removing bugs and assist in minimizing rock chips.
I’ll add that ceramic coating should be applied indoors and kept out of the rain for two to three days to give it time to cure.

Still working towards it but mine is 24 x 65 with a back section that opens up about 14′ wider for storage.
My pit was an extension of an existing truck service pit I already had. So it measures 27″ wide X 4′-2″ deep X 28′ length. 28 is all I can get for length because of underground rock (PA).

I would try rebooting the whole Techlink system and customer service can guide you thru this procedure if you do not have instructions. Hope this get rid of your gremlin.

I installed a KVH RV-1 antenna and Dish sent me a “Wally” receiver. Jeff did the portion that required a smart phone.
On our first trip we went to western NY state and despite being in the middle of a large open parking lot completely clear of obstructions we could only get less than 1/2 of the programming we subscribe to.
So I spent a lot of time talking to KVH and Dish, both blaming the other for the problem. But I now have the keys to the kingdom in the respect I have learned how to get into the KVH antenna via its IP address using my laptop so I can verify signal strength, change satellites or satellite groupings, and verify its operation. I now use the coverage maps and if needed can be sure I am on the right satellite groups or a specific satellite depending on the programmng I want.
I also learned how to access the Dish diagnostics and can change any and all settings for Dish plus do whatever magic tricks are required to insure the Dish receiver is communicating with the antenna correctly.
Now no matter if I am talking to KVH or Dish neither can bullshit me because I can pull any and all data from either one to verify settings and signals are correct. Which brings me to my question.
Are any Dish users experiencing loss of programming? For reasons unknown to Dish or KVH we cannot pull all the channels we subscribe to. Dish has given uo and is willing to replace the “Wally” but I wonder if it is a problem associated with my geographic locations, both of which are near the edges of the coverage maps.

meant volts! Actually found wires in shore power plug to be loose. Probably from yanking on the plug from new surge protector. Camco replacement plug ! ok quality but may replace.

Al, the answer to your weight questions will be on a weight tag. Slides add weight without a doubt, but there are so many factors affecting the weight as well as the balance that every single coach, when loaded as described above needs to be weighed.
Those weights need to be at each axle and I have never had an issue with being able to place each axle on a different scale section. But if that is not possible it is relatively easy to move the coach getting multiple readings to allow for an accurate axle weight calculation.
You will never know the correct tire pressures without those weights.

Try lifting your tag axle, that will put more weight on your drives for traction.
