I have never had a problem logging in as previously described. Perhaps the admin could jump in here and offer some solutions.

I am replacing my solar panels and Charge controller, 1992 Country Coach. My charge controller was mounted above the fridge, I can’t figure out where the battery wire terminates. Anyone have an early 90’s country coach? I have no documentation except for a 1995 CC manual. The controller has 3 wires, + from solar, + from Batteries, and ground. Wire shows Wire 106 goes from the batteries to the Charge controller. I don’t have 12v on this wire.

I cruise around 1450-1500 rpms (60-65 mph) too. Still very close to max torque and lets you hang with the trucks (at least on the West Coast). I get about 7 mpg towing a Jeep Wrangler over 3000 miles of varied terrain.
The main thing I take away from the charts is, don’t be afraid of full throttle below 1500 rpm. You are not lugging the engine.

Art, this is the updated WIF sensor. Should fit the old bowl.

As I enter the 4th week after having the dealer verify my issues still no answers. According to the Jeep dealership service manager the technician who has dealt with this from day one has been slowly moving up the food chain of engineering and technical people trying to get answers or someone to agree the Jeep Grand Cherokee has the potential to be a dangerous toad and that a fix is required.
When I as a customer complains, people like the salesman tend to blow me off as uninformed or lacking skills or knowledge to do thing right. But when the dealerships top technician verifies my horror story people actually start to listen.
I rattled everyone’s cage last week by letting the dealership know they may be giving me my money back because I might schedule appointments with as many dealers as necessary to provide a fix within a 100 mile radius. I will make sure I have enough failed service requests to comply with the lemon law. I guess I am a little pushy, but when another GC owner experienced a shimmy so bad the wheels of his GC were leaving the ground he experienced serious suspension and steering system damage to the GC, plus damage to the RV hitch. He never had the death wobble previously.
But without Jeep’s help I made some progress. On one of the RV forums a member posted a procedure he has used to have the power steering work immediately after getting out of towing mode and back into driving mode. I tried it, and it works. It involves going into the vehicle settings and changing a key off option. If that will work reliably that issue is solved. I will speak to my dealer tomorrow about this and see if this is an acceptable step or if it help Jeep understand what specific programming change will eliminate the problem.
If the fix works, either way, then my only remaining issue is to understand how as part of the pre-trip toad inspection I can verify the electric power steering kit for towing is working.
Should have kept the Hummer.

Hello Dick,
If you have air operated ride height on your bus ….you have valves that adjust this height.
Inspection is needed that these totally exposed rubber parts are subject to wear, temperature, water and flying pieces of road trash.
Norgren valves also work with this height hardware, also subject to leak or fail.
Most owners understand parts exposed to weather conditions have a life expectancy. This can be your guide to life os certain parts exposed to elements,

Owned both. Presently XLII which I Personally like . Easier to keep clean with all the stainless. Less change of fiberglass cracking. XLII does have chances of panel delamination.

is there a fuse I should check. Looked in both areas (under driver and in front of engine in passenger side) without seeing anything listed for A/C
Thanks I’ll call Lewis Bros. In the past I would get the “low pressure” light on the dash. When I had it ch3cked they said nothing wrong, ignore it. Guess that may be wrong. Not bad driving with the roof airs and a fan blowing up front.
as an aside, the shop listed as Prevost authorized on the Prevost app wanted nothing to do with anything Prevost.

On a recent trip I noticed my passengers tag running about 15 deg F warmer than the rest of the tires with my IR temp gun. Is this with in an acceptable range?
Didn’t write down the temps, as my old brain remembers, the passengers tag was about 210 Deg and the rest o f the tires were about 195 Deg.
