Fuel Filter Water seperator
On my Detroit there is 2 fuel filters Primary and a secondary filter, The Primary is a Racor S3202 with a plastic bowl on bottom for water if you ever get it, I would like to get a spare bowl with the sensor in it, Is that a Detroit part or a Prevost part? Do they still make that part and does anyone have a part # for it ?? The secondary filter is a Detroit # 23530645.

That filter with the sensor is made by Parker Co., they own Racor I think.
Should be able to take the filter # or the filter to a parts store and get one. I don’t think your Auto Zones and O’Rileys will have it.
A NAPA would probably be your best bet.

I have a spare bowl but it does not have a sensor in it.

You can buy the water sensor separately. About $12 on ebay. Ask me how I know. When changing filter I twisted off one lead despite disconnecting the wires.

hate to jump this thread however on a previous post i did not get a response that I know of .
I lost prime after a battery change, any thoughts on how best to restore fuel flow and start ? Thank You in advance

Art, this is the updated WIF sensor. Should fit the old bowl.

NAPA has Racor parts used on your bus. Ask to see the WIX catalog.
That will give you lots of information and choice. By all means carry a spare plastic filter sight glass with your spare parts. They have been known to suffer rock damage.

all good was able to prime top side by removing the line from the filter and used a gal jug filled with fresh fuel . Thanks for the feedback , love this site .

Upgrade to new style arrow points to.
Better with the clear sight style. Easy to inspect for water.
There is your spare I wrote about to carry with gasket.
