What are your thoughts about an H3 Prevost
Posted by gary on August 24, 2021 at 12:57 amWhat are your thoughts about an H3 Prevost. I realize the h3 has taller bays but the disadvantage seems to be lower height inside the coach. It would seem to me having a higher ceiling is more important then a larger bay. Am I correct?..???

If one answer was correct the other model would not exist. Some like the X3 and some like the H3. They like what they like due to the differences. Which model d oyou like? That is the correct answer for YOU.

Dr. Gary,
You’ve been posting quite a number of “What if” and “How about” questions over and over for the past few months. I’m going to suggest you take a few trips to mid Florida and the Nashville area and most of your questions will be answered by so many reputable dealers in the area. In a few days you can see dozens of different kinds of Prevosts and have most of your questions answered by knowledgeable people…who also would like to sell you a coach. You really need to get yourself inside a bus. Then another bus…and another. One of those Prevosts will be exactly what you want.
You can ask all the questions you want and so many good folks here will be happy to give their opinion. But it’s your opinion that matters. Go see some Prevosts and one of them will certainly be calling out to you.
Not that you have to do it like me but I personally made a dozen trips to various Prevost specialists around the U.S. over a couple years before I found the right one.

You’d be best served by going to a dealer who can show an H3 and an X side by side.

I 2nd Jimmy’s response. Fly into Orland, FL.
Sandford, FL is approx 20 mile north of the airport. Millennium Coach, Featherlite Coach, & Donnie Myers are all within a 5 mile radius of each other in the Sanford area. Marathon Coach is about 1 1/2 hours west of Orlando international airport. Liberty Coach is about 2 hrs SE of Orlando.
Seeing, touching, and talking to the people at these facilities is the best way to move forward. These folks are true professionals, they will help you buy more by informing you than trying to sell you.

Thank you for your responses. I did go to the West Palm Beach Florida Prevost Show and I went in and out of at least 20 buses. Also I saw the buses for sale on the Danny Myers lot in Florida. In addition I saw 35 buses Bus For Sale .com and Staley bus. All my questions came after visiting all multiple multiple buses. I spoke to plenty of sales people but it is the Prevost forum that I have the most confidence in

Owned both. Presently XLII which I Personally like . Easier to keep clean with all the stainless. Less change of fiberglass cracking. XLII does have chances of panel delamination.

Personal preference when buying is no dealers ! Good pre purchase inspection and maintenance records check can save u thousands by purchasing from private owner vs dealers !
