In my opinion 5 gig is not enough data to seriously consider using the Internet to stream video content. We use Verizon 4g home fusion at our home base and we are routinely pulling in excess of 30 a month and we don’t stream feature length videos etc. if you intend to download and view HD content you can burn thru well more than a gig a day.

    Just my 2 cents worth

Just a guess Brian, remove the light and see if the panel is fastened there.

Locks have become generic. The locks I changed were on an XL where all the engine access doors and gas tank doors had the same Viro lock and key as every single other XL made since the beginning of time. I changed to the round key type lock. It was a simple matter of just getting the correct barrel length and cam offset.

I don’t know if an H3 has the same condition regarding locks.

Certainly the shore power cord on the coaches is not solid conductor. On my coach, and I assumed all others, the AC inside the coach is solid conductor. This is the wiring from the circuit breaker panel to all appliances or outlets. With solid conductor wiring it’s important that the connects be checked periodically and more importantly that the wiring has plenty of fastners to keep it in place, especially at the outley, appliance, or other termination point.

I feel your pain Oakie (spelling for Jon).

Similiar thing happened to me yesterday on the way to Music City. Running down the I-24 superslab and at an exit, a pick-up came screeming down the “get on ramp” and there was nowhere for me to go. Had a big truck beside me and another right on my butt getting ready to jump into the fast lane as soon as the other got past me. The numb nut in the pick-up ended up in a dead stop on the shoulder, the ramp was short and the big truck behind me didn’t move an inch.

Like the King says, you can’t fix stupid!

I believe Ed needs to add prunes to his diet.

The poop will in fact accumulate in a pile if the tank drain is left open because there is not enough force or volume in the waste water to carry it out. What we have done is empty and fill at the same time. With a full fresh water tank and an empty holding tank we start out by emptying the one and filling the other. When we need to refill the fresh water tank the holding tank has a lot of head pressure because it is now near full. When the valve is opened anything on the bottom of the tank is literally swept into the drain hose due to the velocity of the waster water. In 22 years we have never had any issues using that practice. Of course our morning deposits are not the equal of what Ed apparently has.

My 99 Country Coach has the 1/4 circle shower that I assume most do. It was made by Cessana in Italy. I have bought parts from the importer out of New York. Any of the converters ought to have some of these in stock. If you can’t find any, PM me and I will get u the contact info.

I had two custom sofas reupholstered with an elaborate pleated design in all leather. It took 8 hides.

I originally contemplated new but the equipment beneath both sofas ruled out the use of any standard designs so I opted for the reupholstering. I was able to disassemble both and take the pieces out through the door on a 97 XL. But don’t fear windshield removal. It is common to do this and easy. Takes about 10 minutes to remove and about 20 to 30 to reinstall the glass. Anyone can do it.

Its a rental facility, I’ve already asked and gotten an “oh we can’t do that” answer.

Why not just wire it properly with the correct plug and breaker?

Why is only one leg getting power? A 15A or 30A adapter should be wired so the one 120V source is bridged across both legs of the 50A 120/240 RV plug.

You are correct that your 2 30A to one 50A adapter is going to great problems with GFCIs, if the the to 30A sources are out of phase. If they are in phase, the GFCI should be fine. For storage, a single 30A bridged acrossed both legs of your 50A plug should be more than enough power.

    Jim,

Thanks for the reply. I do plan to take a look at some coaches that were converted by those companies as I can find them. One might think that Nashville would be running over with motorhome conversions for sale, but I have not found that to be the case. There are dozens of entertainer coaches available, but most of them were built locally. There is a Featherlite available that I plan to take a look at as soon as I can work out the time.
