Shower door roller bearings
Our coach (Marathon conversion) has a circular shower with two concave shower door rollers on top. The plastic race of one of the roller ball bearings has disintegrated. I have been searching ball bearing vendors for a replacement without success. The bearing has double row steel balls with a plastic race (id=7/16, od=13/16). This seems to be a common shower arrangement. Has anyone come across a workable bearing or roller replacement?
A custom plastic bushing might also do the trick but buying one of those Harbor Freight mini lathes to produce the part seems overkill

My 99 Country Coach has the 1/4 circle shower that I assume most do. It was made by Cessana in Italy. I have bought parts from the importer out of New York. Any of the converters ought to have some of these in stock. If you can’t find any, PM me and I will get u the contact info.

Here is the address for the shower parts. Most of the converters probably have some parts for these shower enclosures. I think they all used this brand of shower doors in just about all the Prevost’s I have seen. Try Marathon, Liberty, Vantare or any of the others. Also if you don’t have any luck with the company call Eddie Brayle at National Indoor Storage in Dallas and see if he can help. He got me some parts awhile back. 1 (469) 277-1330

Luxury Marketing Inc no longer represents Cesana.
However, one can still order the parts through Mil USA 1800 527 4498. The rollers are part number 722-99 and are $90 each.

I just consider it my personal contribution to bailing out Italy. What is not helping is that the dollar is dropping like a rock – we all know why (QE3).

Great news LOL Just called MIL usa and they have a redesigned unit with bushings instead of bearings as I understand for only $225–now I know why Liberty was $275. Anybody done anything else with these?
