Chip, so there is no misunderstanding, the yellow ultra elc gets a blank filter. The red elc (not ultra) might need a charged filter, I just can’t remember.

Chip,
Would be a good time to do a radiator flush. Using only DD approved stuff of course.

I e-mailed you the Martin Schematics. Let me know if you don’t get them.

Les,
Hunt us up, Judy LOVES to spend money! When it’s someone else’s, I’m all for it.

The only way to see the hose is to stick my head under the LH rear of the coach and look up. I am getting ready to head to West Palm for the Prevost show and the bus is lowered down making that impossible unless I raise it and put stands under it.
What I can say in the absence of a photo is if it is safe to do it look up at the left rear corner of the coach and you will see a couple of coolant pipes with a U shape and petcocks for draining. Slightly forward of them is the only elbow shaped coolant hose. If it is original it will be blue and it is connected at the top of the elbow to the bottom of the EGR intercooler, and at the bottom to a horizontal coolant pipe.
A member has sent me photos of his and I can tell you that even though I know what I am looking at in the photos I would not have known where the elbow is relative to anything unless I had worked on it on my coach. The replacement is a red or orange color so if you see an elbow in that color it is probable yours had been replaced.

I’ll pass that along to owner, thanks.

Tim, I’ve never tried to measure that but have the original manual that came with mine. It says for the DBW2020 (80,000 BTU) unit, 2.5 pints per hour. For the DBW2010 (40,000 BTU) unit, 1.3 pints per hour. If you have the aqua hot unit, it is probably the DBW2010.

Thanks Jeff

Doubt that I can be of any help as I assume this is not the old ‘autoawn’ (air and electric) zip-dee. I would suggest, however, that not being able to extend is MUCH BETTER than not being able to retract. You may want to wait for professional service.

I initially thought that if we drove the coach 8-10 hours after drawing the batteries down to 50-60 % state of charge, the house AGM batteries would be fully (100%) charged.
I seems as though the charge from the engine driven alternator may/will never charge the house AGM batteries to 100% state of charge.
Is this because the engine driven alternator doesn’t get to a high enough voltage for the batteries to reach absorption and or float charge levels?
Dang…the more I learn the more I really don’t know.

Nothing big as I thought. Have OTR air and usually check and charge myself but thought would just use the Cruisairs on the way down to Beach as I have developed a leak and will track leaks with nitrogen this fall in the OTR’. Got a couple hundred miles down and stopped to check things and Kubota gen set was a squealing and had already kicked out on electricity once. Motor still running just no juice. Restart and took off again. Shut down again and drove in the 95 degree heat to spot, hooked up to pole and back to barn. Started it this morning and it’s the big sucker/blower out the bottom thinga ma jiggy that’s a not working and squealing that colls the puppy. Easy fix. Also front cruiseair drain was stopped up and water everywhere and at the beach (Surfside Tx.) the humidity was about 110 percent.. Just the usual stuff that you fix one and 2 will break next trip. Hope it’s not fix 2 and double up 4 will break next time. You have a Prevost now Harry. You will find out these pleasures. One good thing with the 2 Stroke, is after getting blower seals replaced, the thing hasn’t used a drop of oil in 2 trips out and about 1000 miles. When they (seals) let go, it used about a gallon in 125 miles.

Aligning it should be easy, place the wax ring like Joe said and set it down rocking a little. My Microphor has 4 bolts that the toilet sits on, alignment not an issue. I’ve taken 2 different toilets out to repair and installing the toilet was no problem, just really heavy. Put a rag over the sewer pipe, making sure it’s empty, to prevent the rose petal fumes.

Thanks all for the replies. I’ll get to the coach this Friday evening and check for the GFCI under the cabinets. Makes sense that is what it is. I think the outside outlets/bay outlets are on that forward outlets circuit and we had lots of hard rain recently plus they water tested the window replacement job so the pressurized spray could have worked into some outlet somwhere on the coach exterior and tripped the GFCI. We used to have a GFCI outlet on our back porch in MI that would trip if it rained really hard.

I tried on all 3 possible generator start buttons none work!
