battery voltage is step one….can you post picture of gen. Yours has the separate start/stop switch directly on it?

Start checking at the battery for battery voltage and tight cable connections. Follow the battery ground wire from the battery to where ever it goes and make sure it is a tight well grounded connection. Do the same thing with the postive cable, start at the battery and follow it to the starter. Make sure all connections are tight. Check the smaller wires on the starter solanoid and make sure the are tight. Sounds like either a dead start battery or a connection has come loose some where.

Check all the easy simple stuff first, before getting to worried.

We have experienced this exact same issue before. By toggling the generator power button (above driver) on and off a couple of times it should work. Ours sticks sometimes.

Thanks has the start option on the generator, when dc power is on starter has power on. No power to the start togle switch, starter works when bridged with screwdriver but doesnt run, batteries are new.

Thanks all connections are tight batterie ok, gets power to the main starter wire when dc power is on! No power on the togle switch. Starter will work with conecting big wire to small wir with screw driver but doent run that way ?

On our coach the “GEN DC PWR” button sticks just enough to remind us who’s in charge. Cycling it a few times and all is good. I tried attaching a photo.

If you open up the main control box the start signal is actually a ground signal. While pushing one of the start switches make sure you are getting a momentary ground pulse on pin 1,9. The stop signal is also a momentary ground pulse.

pin 1 or 9 should have continuity to ground normally. When you push start it ties the other one 1 or 9 to pin 2 which is ground. You can try jumping 1 to 2 or 9 to 2.
