Hey, Ed, I was wondering if your tank monitoring is still holding up. I replaced my pumps but must have used too cheap/weak pumps I think. Plus, I didn’t get it air tight as the levels drop right away.

It looks like you used the Coralife blue pumps currently at ~$50 each. Those are adjustable. Did you set yours to the max L/min setting? I also used ‘normal’ tubing, not silicon and maybe I’m getting a poor seal. It needs to be 1/4″ OD, right? Where did you get yours?

I’ve thought about converting to stick-on sensors, but access to the side of the tanks is not great and overall seems sketchy.

    Thanks.

Thanks so much to Dan and Judy !! It was great to see old friends and meet new ones. It was wonderful of you both to do the planning and make this event happen not to mention the incredible breakfast and tequila. I never really got a straight answer on who put the dinner together, but it was very generous, delicious, and appreciated. Thanks to everyone responsible.

Can’t get it to move using the level low controller. Its like the controller is not connected to any solenoid.

    I heard back from Groco.

They don’t sell any electric motor parts, so I ordered new brushes online for <$100.

    Found the problem 🙂
Took the 12vdc Groco water pump electric motor apart.
28 yrs of condensation corrosion on the lower internals 🙁
One of the brushes was stuck out away from the armature (open circuit), and both are worn.
Worst case scenario = I’ll clean everything up, and it will function well for a few more yrs.
Best case = I’ll be able to purchase new brushes and it will be good to go for decades.
I will probably drill a drain hole in the bottom of the outer case too.
Groco been good at responding to my emails.

Wood or Laminate cabinets Lots of things to think about big thing is Delamination on LX2 buses ask to see paper work it’s big bucks to fix

Glad to hear you are doing well. I was thinking about calling you today and got side tracked. All that walking made you physically strong to come out of the surgery on top.

AquaAir marine air conditioning out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL has a drop in unit for the Cruisairs. Uses existing controls, runs around 12-13 Amps, has soft start so start up amp ramp up from 7 amps to the running amps.

I have the first unit in my bus, works great, runs quite.

Check valves are important and I have 3 R12 valves and 1 R14 valves I replaced all 5 years ago If you look at schmatics 3 R12 valves only get air when the control port gets air when you apply brakes, When I seperated air lines between wet tank and pedelvalve it held 4 cheap gauges and some fittings told me alot.

You can see 1st pic that one valve seperates the aux from brakes If it’s anything like mine but newer Primary and secondary Is only for brakes and e-brakes and belt tension on engine, Aux system only Suspension and add on’s from converter If you shut off 1 st valve your leaks will be in brake system, Other valves I added are air horn-air seat-air door lock-foot well slide If I get a leak in any of those thing easy to turn off
