  • Front end lowers in couple days…

Posted by Dorel on April 15, 2024 at 3:09 pm

Hello, looking for suggestions…for last couple months, coach drops the front(equal on both sides) in 2-3 days after being raised to drive mode. Rear stays up for 3 weeks, then start to slowly drop, small leak somewhere…

Coach was / is in Florida for the winter, no issues with the cold weather.

Suggestions for the front issue? Can be both airbags dropping same time, valves, central valve?

    Thx!

If it is independent front suspension, a 2 position norgren is plumbed on every IFS front end they’ve ever put out. It’s the top one in the steering Bay on the back wall. The top 90 degree fitting is the blue line with the yellow tape on it that actually goes to the front suspension. It sits just above another to position norgren below it. Continuing up the path of air the blue line that comes off of that top norgren in the steering Bay it feeds two more 2-position norgren either side of the ride height valve above the axle. Those three norgren’s and the two airbags and the two air tanks those are all and only components that can leak causing a front end to go down with the key off.

Thank you Jeff and Art for your suggestions, I will look once back onsite.

I will get with Prevost for part numbers for those Norgreen valves, I have them for sure listed somewhere already…

All airbags were changed in 2016 by Jeff.
